How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

This was the perfect one night stay near to the airport. The host was very friendly and helpful. Several food shops within walking distance.

The windows were covered for privacy but made it dark inside therefore wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than one or two nights. It was up a steep flight of stairs but help to carry bags was given. Shower ok but not great.
Kevin was great. He was very welcoming and made sure we had things we needed. We stayed for one night and taxi took about 20 minutes from the airport. There were two double bedrooms with air conditioning and very comfortable double beds. It was easy to make hot drinks and fridge and cooker were available. The TV worked well and we had access to Netflix. Wi-fi signal was excellent.

It is close to the airport but not the Port of Spain, so you need to move to the Port of Spain if you want to walk around the city as a tourist.
It is big and spacious with two separate beds in two bedrooms. The WiFi is great. The host is very friendly and provides useful information for Tobago vs. Trinidad.

Host was super nice and responsive. They offer a taxi service to and from the airport. They were super helpful and kind. The rooms were nice and we had a great rest.

The property was well kept , the host was very generous to leave goodies for my short stay . In all the apartment was 10/10 with the fact it’s so close to the airport and the staff I interacted with were amazing .

The shower was a bit odd. Pressure was a bit low. Also I would suggest having more towels ie face cloths.
The host was very friendly and accommodating. Our driver was also friendly and always on time.

We booked this place as it was close to the airport. We arrived a while before check in so Kevin gave us the number for a car tour which is well worth it. Once we got into the room we were pleasantly surprised. It's spacious, clean and fresh. We stayed during New Years, and it was still a quiet area. There are supermarkets and food options very close by. Thank you Kevin for everything!

It was very noisy, people laughing and drinking in the halls and stairwell. And alarms went off at 3am waking me again .Also the Tv was not functioning.
It was affordable and the host arranged transport from the airport . It was clean .

There was no Iron or Ironing Board. However it wasn't a deal breaker for me. sometimes clothes get messed up packing. The bed in one room, although comfy, becomes sunken in the middle, which hurt your back, you just have to find the sweet spot
Breakfast is not provided. However there's a fully equipped kitchen

Close to fuel, supermarket and restaurants, off road parking and next to airport. Friendly and reliable host who didn't keep us hanging around when we arrived. Good WiFi and kitchen facilities. Air con worked a treat.

Upon booking, I was contacted to pay for the stag, and also offered airport transportation. Everything was smooth, and easy. Much easier than some experiences I’ve had with a travel agent. The property was larger than expected, I’d definitely stay again.

the area next to the airport isn't that comfortable , good to have this driver opportunity ! the neighbor next door likes music ( we don't mind if he is playing not that loud :) you have to notice, that is a budget place - nothing is really missing .. in and out for the flight or waiting for the tobago ferry - we would make a booking again , just for so many reasons
first of all : Trinidad / Tobago is little different to other places, the standard of living is not easy to compare + this place provides 2 bedrooms with aircon + the kitchen is full equipped ( thank you for water and angostura orange as welcome drink in the cold fritch ) + wifi works well and is stable all over the place + the lounge area with tv we didn't use + the bathroom has everything you need ( good smell facility including ) Most important is the security - the owner family lives in the same house, they look after you. There are cameras and looked gates, once you get the key , you are sleeping on a safe place next to the airport + highly recommended is the driver Mikaya , who works as shuttle service ( 10 points ) + airport pick up service ( 40 TT$ ) or ferry terminal ( 100 TT$ ) shuttle brings you in 30-40 minutes to the ferry + if you stay 2 nights @ this place_ don't miss out maracas beach ( Mikaya brings you there and return for 60-70 US$ ) + if you need something you get instantly a message ( and maybe you get organized other things like food etc ) This place is very invisible from outside - for Trinidad good value for the money !! good to share with max. 4 peoples !!
