the hotel is situated in a dodgy part of the city, a shopping mall catered for mostly Southeast Asians that may be unkempt, looks and feels dangerous too, a kind of ghetto in some sense. staff members/receptionist also felt a little idgaf.

But what I don't like is that the capsule curtain can't be closed tightly, when the lights are on and I want to change clothes, the residents across the way can see from the edge of the curtain, and the other guests are also very noisy when walking and opening and closing the door.

The biggest problem I had with the hotel was trying to find it. It took me 40 mins. It has no street frontage and is located on the 4th floor and only accessible by a lift. There are several lifts, but some don't lead to the hotel. The lighting in the bedroom was very complicated.

Nice decor in the public area. I stayed for two nights, and there was no room cleaning or towel change. This is totally unnecessary if one is only staying for two nights, so I applaud that. May explain why the price was so reasonable? I give it an 8 because it was excellent value

You can see a bit of mold on the ceiling near the windows' frames. The check-in is a little bit late(4:30PM) to my personal preference, but they let me storage my luggage since I've arrived earlier.

The set up of the lobby was a little weird to be honest. It was a huge empty area with a front desk in the middle of nowhere. When I checked in, I asked if I could store my luggage there the next day after checking out. The lady at the front desk pointed at some empty space and said I could put my luggage there but no one is going to watch it.

Less than 10 minutes walk from the train station and there are plenty of places near by to have a bite. There are also two convenient stores across the street. The room was decent and clean. When I checked out, the front desk offered a sandwich for me to pack after knowing I didn’t have breakfast, which was quite sweet. .

The room is nice and big room but I have some comments on the room need to improve. - the bed is slightly harder - the pillow is too soft and required a change - the window need a cleaning . I used a tissue and I could wipe off a lot of dusts on it - toilet have a few moulds but it is not very obvious But what I like that the hotel room is quiet and the noise level will stop or tone down around 9pm that allow all of us as guests to rest peacefully. What I didn't like is the thermostat isn't working

One of the spacious hotel room in taichung I ever being at the price of 1100NTD++. I thought this hotel was 4 star hotel but I checked online , it was 3 star hotel but a 5 star service. It is around 5- 10 to taichung train station The lobby is quite big and look like u are coming to film production set and the waiting area seat are comfortable and cosy. It is also quiet. The checkin were quick and fast but the check in need to wait until 4.30pm. Instead of 3pm by usual hotel time. There have water dispenser to keep filling up your need of water and biscuits and tea bags provided for tea break. I have eaten a most hearty and warming nice vegetarian breakfast buffet I have. Highly recommended for 1day stay.

Staffs can use a little smile. The male front desk staff is too serious to the point of being so intimidating. A bit far from the new-fashoned, modern and, upscale area of Taichung!

This is my second time. And it was a better experience than the first one. A budget hotel with pretty good facilities. It is right at the old city center of Taichung. Very accessible by bus or train. Near Miyahara!

There is no bottled water and the water dispenser is in the lobby which is far away from our room that make so inconvenient. Complementary Toiletries are all available except for the water.

The stuff is nice and approachable. The room is comfortable but a little bit dusty for me that makes me sneeze frequently as I have allergy yet contrary to my companions which don't have allergies and they do really enjoy the comfort for a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet is good and they serve healthy foods.
