Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

actually all. the hotel has the best beach location in Nungwi beach (for swimming, sunset, drinks and dinner locations) it has great breakfast and very friendly staff, from security who arranges for you the sun chairs (reserved for guests-free) to room manager who helps to solve everything. it really made us feel like home.

Best place for casual stay in Nungwi! Great atmosphere, attention devoted to details but still overall very relaxed vibe. Room was spacious, very well cleaned and maintained (every day fresh towels, cleaned, new coffee/tea bags); management team and stuff super welcoming and friendly, problem-solving oriented if needed. There’s also ZaVa restaurant on the beach, which is a great place to be for a chill breakfast but also for nice dinner with a view. All the food we had was fresh, delicious and decently priced. It’s possible to park a car in front of the entrance on the street.

What's not to like. A lovely introduction by Iman which was a first in Zanzibar. A perfect spot right on the beach, breakfast overlooking the ocean. .. perfect. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Plenty of loungers cushions and parasols for shade. An added bonus was an off licence just round the corner to purchase a cold beer 🍺 whilst Watching the evening sunset. Lots of restaurants a stone's throw away if you don't eat in the hotel. Although we ate elsewhere the food in the hotel looked yummy....

United KingdomYou shouldn't expect 5 star hotel luxury eg shower is fine but functional. There was a little bit of noise at night but nothing that stopped me sleeping But this is Africa and I'd 100% recommend don't be surprised how far the tide goes out and when the locals come to collect shellfish
the breakfast was located on the beach. Very good fresh fruit, coffee and fruit juice. A choice of simple other dishes like poached eggs, or v good pancakes. Available from 8-10am. The hotel only has 9 rooms, lots of staff, full security at night , rooms cleaned well every day. The rooms are yards from the beach bar and beach itself. The beach and sea are fantastic, crystal-clear water Plus the sunset is breath-taking. Staff couldn't be more helpful free sunbeds on the beach There are plenty of places is eat a short walk away

The place is very close to the beach. The restaurant which serves breakfast is on the beach- it’s wonderful. The beach is clean, water is transparent- but in the morning there was low level of water so we could enjoy looking for starfish and other reef treasures. The staff is helpful, kind, always there to help you. The room was clean. I recommend staying over there!

One of the nices places. The hotel is located directly to beach. the breakfast is very good and it was enough for us. The room was clean and comfortable. You also get free sunbeds and umbrella. But the best about the hotel is the staff! They are just so kind and sweet and are very interested in you being well. :) They also have free drinking water :)

Hotel is located directly at the beach of Nungwi. Sun beds at the beach are free for guests. Breakfast was very good (fruits, smoothie, coffee, tea and dishes with pancakes or eggs) and is also served in the hotels restaurant direct at the beach. Hotel crew is really helpful with organisation of tours and trips and other concerns of your trip. We would definitely recommend the hotel and come back!

GermanyNothing to complain about as far as the property and the staff are concerned. For this very central location, however, the load music from the neighboring hotels until late in the night can't be avoided and was a bit annoying. We were aware of that in advance and brought some earplugs, so we managed to sleep without any problem. A clear trade-off for the great location.
A unique location, only a few steps away from the beautiful North-West beach of Nungwi. The best beach restaurant/bar around is also part of the property. We enjoyed the tasty breakfasts, the excellent food and the incredible cocktails there. The manager Imam and especially his assistant Shafii put their attention on taking good care of their guests, were very kind and forthcoming. Shafii was very supportive for the organization of our program, which exactly addressed our expectations. The bungalow rooms are comfortable for the expected level, the AC worked well, and warm water was available at all times. The staff kept everything clean and tidy. Thank you very much for this unforgettable time in Nungwi!
