The rooms are supposed to be non smoking and the room I stayed in had clearly been smoked in ; heavily. If I hadn’t been completely exhausted from driving all day I would’ve requested a room change. The shower was quit tiny. If I hadn’t stayed at a motel 6 the night before I’d have had nothing to compare it to. Also; I can’t say this is the property itself or maybe just hotels/motels in Texas altogether because this is 2 for 2 and the last one was quality name hotel but I woke in the morning to find La Cucarachas roaming around and that’s enough for me to pack up and leave

Bed was hard as a rock. No convenience stores or restaurants nearby. TV had a dead spot right in the middle.

Access to hotel is awkward since it is located on a one way frontage road between a U-Turn under I20 and Stamford. This requires double backing under the interstate or going through town to catch a road that intersects with frontage road west of the property.

Room was clean, and quiet, bed was good. Nice cold air conditioning. Convenient for my traveling purposes. Value is excellent for the 14-16 hrs spent as an overnighter during a long trip to and from work as it is halfway point in an 8.5 hr drive.

I didn’t like dead people next door up all night throwing music doing whatever they’re doing until three in the morning for in the morning and then the first room we got smell like weed so I made them move me. They try to meet me upstairs but I’m disabled, so they move me to another room downstairs. There was much cleaner.

Room cons: There was roaches on floors. Towels had stains of make up... im sure the towels were washed but probably not soaked in bleach to remove stains. I used towels as floor matts only. Bed blanket was really old and even had holes and it looked like it had not been washed in some time. Thankfully I always bring my own towels, pillow, sheets and throw blanket when I travel and especially to this hotel because of it’s rating. Room door didn’t close tight so thankfully it had the added safety lock inside. Hotels in Abilene are becoming so overpriced and because I was traveling alone for our small start up business…I was willing stay here to avoid the excessive charges at other hotels. I new what to expect staying at a Motel 6 so i did come prepared with all my own bedding. I would never stay here if I traveled with my kids but since it was the cheapest available I had no choice. I would not recommend to others and probably would only stay here again if same circumstances arose.

Receptionists was nice and friendly. Thankful for the vending machines since hotel is not close to convenient store. Room pros: AC worked well Bed was somewhat comfortable
