Rooms need a refreshment, paint, etc. Private rooms are within the common rooms and have no private bathrooms :(

It definitely could use an additional area for guests to gather! It also (especially the kitchen) could use a DEEP cleaning! There was no secure storage space in the rooms since the lockers were broken

The mattress was very uncomfortable and the cover was not holding on the mattress. It was pretty uncomfortable. My bed was by an open window. Very noisy with all the street noises.

A lot of people , some nice some on meth, one 42 year old man had a 12 year old boy cutting his hair and he kept bringing the kid in and out of the room,. I think if I wasn't in the room he would have done something nefarious with the kid. Even another guest thought it was very suspicious.

Met a few nice people who genuinely were kind but in reality this is just a money pit!

The advertised pictures are from a long time ago with this hostel. The kitchen was a bit too tiny although the fridge did have enough room. Before checkin time I asked if I could leave a bag, but the price was $5 which was a surprise compared to most hostels.

I had a private room, and for the price and location it was good, but very basic.

Where to start... The private dorm had a very old metal, creaky bed frame being held together by tiewraps with hot, non breathing, plastic covered mattresses. But the worst part was that the room had a window but no real ventilation and the mobile airco was completely covered in mold on the inside which makes it an absolute health hazard to turn on. The moisture, mold and bad ventilation are probably the reason for the plastic mattress covers. It would have been better to just have gotten a place in the dorm which had better bed frames and mattresses and ventilation/airco. The toilet and shower are in the same room and are shared with up to 14 people.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They helped us find a nice parking spot for the car. They let us store our bags over the weekend.

The water is cold all the time, the mattress are really bad like a hole in the middle looks like so many people are sleeping and they don't change ! I sleep very bad there, my God ! The breakfast is terrible they have bread but no butter !!!! Never more for me .

I had a ‘private’ room that was located at the end of a dormitory with a shared bathroom. I checked in a bit late and obviously woke up people that were in the dorm while going to my room. Everything looked a bit old and not super well kept up. I could hear the music from the bar playing until late at night. If you like partying and meed a cheap stay, this is probably a great pick, however if you prefer quiet and comfort I’d advise going somewhere else.

Staff is so kind and have been super helpful. Only stayed there as I needed a cheap room for a night before flying back home. I guess if you like partying, there’s the bar next door.

We were locked for two hours in our room because the lock was broken and someone had to come and open the door from outside. They changed us of room but this time didnt have any security at all. We paid for a private room but apparently everyone could open the door of our room. We had no choice but to put a piece of furniture blocking the door.

it wasn’t clean, in general yes, but just have a look under mattress or the space next to the wall, I didn’t feel welcomed, I arrived after 00:00 the guy at the reception was playing a game on a computer and I didn’t feel welcomed, when I asked if tap water is drinkable in Miami he said “ if you want “!? that’s not kind answer at all. I didn’t like the food, it’s just marketing thing and it shouldn’t be included, I’m sorry but I’m not afraid to say it’s insulting to serve that food to people, the lasagne was the cheapest, deep frozen. please respect people and remove it from menu, instead of this add ham and cheese to breakfast. lockers are very expensive and in most of the hotels are free, small water for $2, again it’s seriously insulting and it should be 2/10 but because of the location I gave you 5/10 additionally there’s nothing going on, I was ready for a party, it doesn’t have to be best party in Miami, just some music from radio and drinks people can buy

The private room is inside a room with more 12 beds! The staff don't attend you with attention. They offer a dinner that is Just 300g of pasta and nothing more. The Kitchen is very small and it doesn't have a social room. I was in private room witch the restroom had not the sink work. It was leaking and we didn't have a place to wash our hands and brush our teeth. Air conditioners are old and noisy. Many photos are old and the Hostel is much smaller than it looks in the advertisement.

Don’t stay here if you plan on getting a good night sleep. Rooms of the bedrooms have a window that has several slits across it which lets in air, AND SOUND! Can hear every single thing that happens outside the bedrooms which includes several people having full scale conversations up until all hours of the night (4am).

Oftentimes, there was no one at the reception even though it was a 24hr reception. The breakfast and dinner, which are included with the price are very poor but I guess for the price it’s acceptable. One day, the receptionist had forgotten to take the food out of the freezer so dinner was 1 hour later than expected. Breakfast was coffee, milk and 2 different types of cereal or toast with 1 sort of jam. There were only spoons, to knives or forks to eat. The bathrooms were always very dirty and mostly occupied by someone especially in the morning and evening. The 3 bunk beds were very uncomfortable and though to get up there since they were very unstable.

The location was good, very close to the harbor and great to see the sunset. The closest beach is a 20 minute walk away. Whole Foods (grocery store) is just a 5 minute walk away.
