How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Control for water flow from bath to shower did not work. No breakfast available. Take away coffee cups do not fit the lids, so impossible to take early morning coffee in the car. Ice maker turned off. Not good value for the price.
Location good. Clean. Quiet. Close to restaurant.

No breakfast was offered
We stayed in a suite and having the extra space was great. The outdoor area looked wonderful although we never really had time to use that space, but offering grills and a pavilion off of the pool would be helpful if coming during warmer months.

A bit more parking area would be nice. Coffee from the coffee machine could be better.
We like the full size refrigerator and kitchen setup. Fitness facility is also nice.

The beds were so uncomfortable we all woke up with horrible back pain from sleeping in those beds, we couldn't even do anything the next day because our backs hurt so bad. Also it says on the website that breakfast was included and it wasn't.

No breakfast offered. Most hotels have complimentarybreakfast which i was surprised yours didn't offer for the price.. Only two handicap spaces and one person parked there who didn't have plate.
The rooms were clean. Like the full bottles of Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Very Nice kitchen and actually was stocked if you wanted to cook.

The elevator is in super slow motion.We’ve stayed here several times and it’s been that way since the first time. There was no shower gel and there was coffee in the coffee pot from previous guests.
Location is great. We like kitchen in these units. it’s nice to have a full size refrigerator and a real kitchen sink and counter. The facility is well maintained.

Mini coffee pot was dirty, shower curtain should be longer so it stays in the tub and doesn't leak water on the floor, would have been nice to have 2nd reclining chair. Elevator was very, very, very slow to open & close door.

It was a crowded weekend with a wedding, and we were there for a family reunion. There were not enough parking spaces for everyone staying at the hotel to park at the hotel. We found parking, but we talked to people that who had to park in others lots.
The room was fine, and I appreciated the little store that had things like salt and Ketchup for the take-out food that we got. The pool was too crowded for us to use. But we appreciated the room and kitchen.

some of the housekeeping details were lacking (dirty dishes in dishwasher, not enough towels)

The only complaints I have are that the outlet in the bathroom did not work and they allowed people (including staff) to spoke directly in front of the main entrance. It often smelled bad and that's not a very welcoming 'tone' to set for guests.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The room and the common areas were clean and comfortable.

The worker who checked us in wasn’t very friendly, it almost seemed like it was a bother that we were there. It was a bit later in the day (around 5pm I believe) but I just didn’t get the welcoming feeling from her. Also, our dishwasher had clean dishes still in there, not a huge deal but just weird. I’m not sure if the floor was vacuumed since our dog was sniffing around and found things to eat on the floor.
The property was easy to find, close to restaurants, and had a lot of helpful amenities- the free laundry was a huge bonus for us since this was the last stop on our 6 day drive before we made it to our destination.
