Hotel charged $40 more than booking confirmation rate. Breakfast buffet unavailable. Everything was made to order but you had to have coupons to order without being charged. This was not disclosed upon checkin. The coupons were only good for one item on the menu which was a decent offering but it would have been nice to have options. Housekeeping never once checked in and we were there for a week. We had to ask the front desk for clean towels during the stay.

It's an older hotel without refrigerator or microwave, but we doordashed great salads from Mod Fresh delivery. Very nice stay.

Not being informed about a "faculty charge" during check-in. I was told I'd be charged a $35 deposit, which is totally normal for checking into a hotel, and then receive that back a couple days after I checked out. Well a couple days passed and instead of getting my full deposit back I was charged for what they called a "faculty charge" which I later discovered when I called them. I have no problem with this BUT I totally feel I should've been made aware of this when I asked about the deposit during check-in.

Location was perfect regarding the wedding we attended and was very easy to find.

The furniture in the rooms is worn out and shabby. The fan did not work in the bathroom. We had to ask for bedding for the sofa and extra towels when a room for 3 people was booked. Towels were small and worn out. Breakfast situation was not clear. Some mornings there was a buffet, other mornings, you had to order 1 thing off the menu. It supposedly opened at 7 am, but no one was there until after 8 am. It is a nice property, but desperately in need of renovations and a facelift. I feel like the hotel makes more money renting out conference and ballrooms than actual rooms.

I like the space in the suites, something I have not found at other hotels in Jefferson City. The bartender Linda(?) makes a great Old Fashion. The location is great for walking to the Capitol and downtown area. It is a good value. This could be a great place if with some renovations.

I went on the assumption I was paying the Bookings price. Upon arrival I was asked for a credit card for incidentals. Normal no problem. It was $35 dollars. Not bad until I was told I would only get $25 back because I was paying for the pool, the access to the bar and restaurant, which were more charges if used. This needs to be clearly stated because now my room is $10 more. ITs the principle. This is not Bookings fault.

There wasn't a refrigerator in the room. The sink was stopped up but that wasn't a problem. There wasn't a really comfortable place to sit but there never is in hotel rooms.

The pool was cold, the room appeared dirty and smelled weird, there was only one washcloth, plus we didn't have any blankets or sheets for our pull out.

All the staff was friendly and the only issue I had was they didn't answer to give us covers and sheets for our pullout.

On site restaurant was closed for the entire weekend, New Years Weekend. The indoor pool left a lot to be desired. Pool area was 68deg and the water was the same temp, too cold for swimming.

The room was comfortable and staff was nice. Knowledgeable and explained the rates and hours of different facilities.

There is a hidden fee that is not advertised on booking.com. $35.00 for potential damages that you get back but it’s not immediately. The tv advertises chrome cast which we were told does not work… there are no streaming capabilities. the staff didn’t seem to know the bar/ restaurant hours. They said “ everyone has their own hours so if someone is in there it’s open. “ also they advertise “ breakfast included” however the breakfast dinning room was not open the morning we were there. so breakfast was not actually included. at check in their was not any mention of any amenities.

I liked that the staff was very friendly. The indoor see through elevator was pretty cool.

Hotel is aging and needs an all around upgrade. Thermostats in room didn't work properly. I like facilities that lean rooms daily. Breakfast buffet lacked variety. . Second day I ordered off menu and the meal was comped because of a 30 minute wait.
