Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe property looks to be under renovation. To be honest, I did not know if i was in the renovated or the old. I am not a novice. I am an architect and worked for a firm that built hotels. This property should be torn down. I do not think renovations will do any good. It is a dilapidated building with no hope. Good luck.

The rooms smelled, the carpet was very dirty and dated from the 70s, there were holes in the doors, the furniture was worn and broken down, the shower curtain was also dirty, the AC barely cooled and ran constantly. The neighbors told us that there was prostitution going on in this property.

United StatesWhen I told the manager at checkout that there was no hot water in the shower, he said that I needed to run the water for 10 to 15 minutes and was not surprised that I stated that the shower water was cold even after 5 minutes.
There was no hot water. I ran the water for 5 minutes and it was just above taking a cold shower. The bedsheets had a stain on them. The room smelled like smoke even though it was "non-smoking"

Had to call front desk to get Towels because they didn't have any there when we arrived along with toilet paper. The paint was falling off ceilings from mold an water damage. United StatesWe got a king size bed and the mattress was so dirty, stained with yellow/brown stains. It was also hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. Room was small but outdated and needs some fixing.
Overall hotel was outdated and needs remodeling/updating. Did not try the breakfast, missed it since ended at 9am. Bed was old, too firm and very stained mattress.

United StatesThe facility is under construction and going through renovations. This is not listed in their advertising so we were not aware when booking. We checked in and stayed for about an hour before my entire family became ill to the point where my wife was gasping for air. Our room was dusty and whatever air was being discharged from the room in wall ac/heat unit was creating an environment that caused my kids and wife to cough uncontrollably. The other room had a very foul smell and caused my au pair to become ill as well. We decided this was not a safe place to stay and to not jeopardize my family's health, we returned the room keys and left to stay at another hotel. I have requested a refund for the full amount and I have not received a phone call from management. I am contacting my credit card company used to make the reservation and will take appropriate measures to ensure my refund is secured.
