They happened to be doing a system upgrade the day we were visiting, which caused issues with check in and no TV, however they more than made up for it with comps. No big deal.

We love this hotel / brand: Wonderful and accommodating staff, inspiring artwork and furnishings, comfortable and functional rooms. The location is perfect for visiting all parts of SF. One of the few places we will return to again and again.

That i couldnt stay any longer.... i had to fly back sadly. Oh and spotify in the room would be nice. Just to play music on spotify and not on youtube. It saves the stayer alot of effort and doesnt make a change for noise?

In general, the current social problems in downtown SF are very visible, and in the area of the hotel, especially at night, you might not feel so comfortable, even if nothing really dangerous is going on.

The hotel is very centrally located in downtown SF, but still a very quiet place to stay. Great staff, generous breakfast, and even though the room was small the bed was very comfortable.

I stayed in CitizenM in Zurich before. This was exactly the same. Staff were very help, check-in straight forward. Room was comfortable and quiet. Excellent Coffee and good breakfast .....

The only thing I didn't like is the size of the bed pillows - they are really huge and neck was hurting in the morning. Would probably stay again, but bring my own pillow. 😆

Good location, cozy and safe hotel, great customer service. Rooms are small, but cozy. Breakfast with a lot of options, hotel bar works till midnight.

Note that the front rooms are noisy, the once on the back are silence and quiet. Also note that the rooms are small so if you have luggages it will not work. We came with just back bag so it went perfect.

Comfort place, clean, technological and helpful staff. At the begining our room was very noisy, so we asked to move to the back instead of the fron and it was perfect.

While sound proofing seemed good on the walls, it seemed less so in the shower rooms. My neighbor either next door or above me took a long shower early in the morning where they were singing very off key, and I heard way too much of it. The app doesnt seem to work if you use the same email as your booking.com account, as it sends the verification email through booking.

Rooms and facilities were super clean. The tech forward angle was great for the most part. Loved how they maximized a small space. Bed was super comfy and easy to relax in. Shower room was great. Staff were very helpful and professional.

I am becoming a big fan of citizenM hotels, and this is going to me my new go-to hotel for San Francisco. The rooms are small but extremely efficient and spotlessly clean. The bed and shower are great. The fitness center and breakfast were both above average.

Nothing to complain

The room was nicely designed and perfect for one person or a couple (although the somewhat open bathroom situation with sink in the room and frosted glass may not be for everyone). Controling lights, temperature and opting out of room cleaning via the tablet in the room was very convenient. Safe under the bed is big enough for a laptop/camera/etc. The hotel was very conveniently located when travelling to/from the airport. Breakfast was great, too, and staff very friendly.
