Carpets in nearly all areas were stained and not clean.

Hotel is in urgent need of basic maintenance. Room doors did not close properly, bathroom curtain construction was loose (big holes in the wall). Very, very basic, low quality breakfast.

The pool and spa area is old and needs resurfacing especially around the pool. The filters in the pool appeared to be not working or clogged.

The parking lot was slightly smaller than necessary- almost all the parking was taken and the hotel was not completely booked either!

The night clerk remembered our faces, she was very friendly and was kind to us and our son the whole time we stayed. We forgot our items in the closet and came back for them and this clerk is the reason our belongings were waiting for us three hours after check out!! Great employee

The bathtub was a simple bathtub--no mat, no safety handlebars. It's a small thing, but something seniors in particular have come to expect and even need.

It was a standard, comfortable room in a good location--walking distance to Tin Can Alley, a cool food court with a great bar.

The bathroom! The tub was gross the sink was as well and didn’t have a drain cover. The fan didn’t work and neither did the heat light. The hair dryer was missing which was a huge inconvenience!

We were in town for a rock climbing competition and this hotel has super convenient to the gym. Staff was friendly and facilities were good. The pool and hot tub on site were a nice perk.

Nice location, close to balloon fiesta park. We could see the balloons from the parking lot and room. Daily hot breakfat was great & it was served extra early so that anyone going to the park could get a good meal prior to setting out for the morning! Disappointed that laundry facilities weren't ready yet. Close to eateries and attractions. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Navigation tool tried to take us to a back street entrance or maybe an old entrance?? That was confusing. Not related. Swimming pool needed maintenance and repair.

I was personally contacted by the day staff the day of checking after leaving a message about a late arrival. She was so friendly and familiar it felt like we were coming to visit family! The night staff that checked us in also was very sweet and welcoming! As we as the breakfast staff. It also felt secure and safe on the property. And we were very excited to wake up and see a few balloons that had launched that morning.

Shower curtain broken and would not stay closed. Ceiling fan didn’t work in bathroom. Bathroom ceiling above shower show extensive water damage and sagging. Entry door sticking. Breakfasts not up to standards of other comfort inn locations.

Google maps does not give good directions because it leads you to a location that you can’t get into there entrance. We figured it out. Comfort inn can have that fixed. That’s the only thing though.

The location was perfect to walk to the Balloon Festival 1.7 miles which is quicker than trying to drive when it’s bumper to bumper. We felt very safe there. Close drive to restaurants and only 50 miles to Santa Fe. The front desk was so friendly and treated us like family. Gave us great recommendations for restaurants. El Pinto and Barilla Coffee so good!

My only complaint was that the directions from the gps address lead you to be back of the motel, from which there is no entrance.

Location for Balloon Fiesta was great, close to Balloon Park. The breakfast, which is included, was great. They have a good variety; eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee, fruit, and more! There is ample parking. We had a two queen bed room and it was sufficient. There is a mini fridge and microwave. Room was clean. Hotel is in need of some TLC, but overall, a pleasant place to stay. Alejandra, greeted us at the front desk and is very pleasant and helpfull. She made sure that if we needed anything, we had it.
