The pool being closed until 4 pm. We were traveling for my husband to work during the day and specially booked this hotel thinking the kids would be able to swim during the day. We were literally locked in the hotel room all weekend with nothing to do because of not knowing this ahead of time.

Pool was closed during the day on the weekend. I booked specifically so my kids could swim during the day while my husband was working. Ants in the bathroom, long black hair in shower stuck to wall…all at check in. Breakfast had no gluten free options, only oatmeal, which was horrible… it was cold, super thick and slimy but had no other options… All around a disappointing stay. I expected much better for Marriott.

No servicing of the room for 2 night stay. No clean towels, beds not made or light house keeping. No signs or options that said it wasn’t included. I assumed it was. Upon check out very rude front desk help said “hotels don’t do that”! I assured her that most do. Point being at $250 dollars per room per night, at least bring fresh towels! OR MAKE IT KNOW THAT IT IS NOT INCLUDED.

Cleanliness of room. There were potato chips on carpet directly in front of couch. The bed light on right side of bed didn't work. The wall light over the couch didn't work. There was no bathroom fan. Water leaked out of the shower and onto the floor. The bathroom door did not shut unless I used a lot of force and then it would stick and be hard to open. The room did not get below 70 degrees even though I repeatedly set the temperature lower.

Covid is not to blame for a companies failings. If you are renovating your kitchen then say that, covid is not to blame for your lack of continental breakfast your reno is. Be warned their pool looks amazing but has very limited hours as they require a life guard and they only employ them for certain hours. Unlike other pools that just close the slides they close the whole pool. only 2 hours week nights and 4 hours total on the weekends. They blamed covid but then said it was because their lifeguards went back to highschool. Again this is not a covid issue. Also be warned their adds are not accurate. they listed a washing machine and dryer in the room and they didnt even have one available in the hotel for public use.

The staff was very friendly, the renos look great.

There was no hot water. We had to shower in another room and the water temp in that bath was lukewarm at best. Door entry was difficult. There was no coffee in lobby served with pastries.

Wifi didn’t work unless in the hallway . No breakfast even though it was stated . Anytime someone in the hotel flushed you lost hot water in the shower for a few minutes. There was gum stuck to top of side table

We were VERY disappointed that this hotel even allowed bookings given they were in the midst of a complete renovation. We had small children and felt unsafe that construction was taking place during our stay. The work was not well sequestered. There was no Wi-Fi (due to construction), no hotel amenities (due to construction), pool was half closed (due to construction), access into hotel / hotel facilities were blocked or closed (due to construction), and parking was very limited (due to construction).

During our stay this hotel was in the middle of a substantial renovation. While our room had been completed, the rest of the hotel was totally under construction. The hotel should have been closed or rates drastically reduced. The room was large and it will be a great hotel once completed. There are two slides in the pool which the kids really enjoyed however the second pool was closed due to construction and the interior windows allowed for a dusty view of the crew working.

Not at all what was advertised!! The pool hours were restricted to appointment only. Breakfast included was changed to fruit and pastry at the front desk. Received a call when we were an hour away that the tvs were not working. The sofa I was relying on being in the room was 'updated' to an extremely uncomfortable chair. The front desk staff rolled their eyes when we went down to ask for a couple extra towels. Half of the hotel was still under construction, which is fine, because of that there were not any vending machines to even buy water, and we checked all three floors. I booked this hotel due to what they had advertised as available and included. When i asked if they were going to lower the price or anything because of everything they changed, they said they couldn't because it was booked through Booking. com

The bed was comfortable. The sheets were soft. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant.

Water slides for kids were great but the smaller kids section wasnt working or was shut down for unknown reason. Hot tub was VERY hot. No wifi offered. No breakfast due to ongoing construction. Very limited cable channel options and then only YouTube or Pandora for streaming.

The airport had just opened the week I arrived and the shuttle drivers had not bothered to learn where arrivals/baggage claim was which on a rainy night meant a half hour wait to get picked up. Their breakfast consists of terrible pastry in plastic, but the fruit was good.

The room was sparsely decorated but attractive in a minimalist sort of way. They were still under construction in parts of the building inspite of many emails assuring me that construction would be finished 6 weeks before my visit.
