This resort is a great hidden gem. My husband and I use it when we want to stay downtown fort myers and getaway from the beach. Staff are great. The hotel rooms are standard basic rooms. It’s great for a one nighter or maybe two more importantly the room is clean. They should leave the ac on when you walk in feels musty. They also have the lakeside cottages which I would recommend if you are gonna book. They are adorable around the pond/lake and The pool is good size. This place is perfect for a weekend getaway next to downtown shops restaurants and the area is up and coming.

I was diappointed that what they advertised on the site which I reserved, was not what I got - when I got there they had a small shack reserved for us accross a four lane highway from the attractions and pond and pool and cottages. It was very small, dark and smelled of mildew. We complained and were told for additional $120.00 we could have a cottage accross the highway (What we originally reserved) Felt kind of cornered. So we accepted. After talking to several other guests. We found this happened to us all. Was not a nice way to start our vacation.😟

The only negatives this time were of a maintenance nature. First off, we know there’s a trick to coaxing the hot water to come out. But as hard as we tried, it never stayed long. Cold showers & cold dish duty. Secondly, the front burner on our stove was kaput. Made my wife a little frazzled during meal time. Also quite a few of those wonderful dolphins had lost their “spit”. Kind of a detraction from the pond scenario. And lastly, our neighbors both had torn awnings over their doorways. Ugly to see & just really needing fixed. All just maintenance keeping up, but nothing overly drastic.

Stayed here two years ago, and it still looks inviting & is a whole lot of fun again (cottage side). Staff was very friendly, and even let us extend our stay quite easily. The grounds are meticulous, and as before, the landscapers should win an award on how well it’s maintained. Our cottage was exceptionally clean upon arrival, including a spotless glass shower door. Used the laundry for the first time & was impressed on how clean, updated & maintained the machines were. We love coming here, and the price is still wonderfully enjoyable!

Air conditioner was a bit loud but worked well. With the cost of new TVs these days there is no reason that the room we stayed in should have an 18 inch TV. The TV was worthless as far as being able to see it because it was so small. Again with the cost of YVs these days this should have been replaced a long time ago.

Nice clean room and the facility is beautiful once you figure out that the rest of the hotel is across the street.

This is an older facility but it is well maintained. The property is cute but has a 50's feel. They have a reasonable pet policy.

No countertop in the bathroom. Just a very small shelf and no hair dryer. Shower was ok but not great.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It was close to the destination that I had to get to for my reason for being in Ft. Myers. In the middle of the city so plenty of places to stop and eat, gas, etc.

First day, air conditioned a little noisy, the other day it was ok. A little far from beaches.

The room was next to the office (security). Clean. A small refrigerator, so you can put your things. A good TV. Bathroom clean. Parking lot for free.

No dining table on the patio. Noise from the road can be a little off-putting but the view is very pretty when you look at the lake

Clean rooms, make sure you get a cottage not a room cross the street. They have a small fridge in the room...no space for a larger one with a freezer so do not buy frozen food thinking you will be able to keep it frozen. There are pots and pans are in the room for cooking..no oven so consider bringing a crock pot or electric skillet. There was only one steak knife in the silverware basket. The grills use charcoal so if you plan on grilling you may want to bring some or go to Publix which is about 15 minutes away. The patio is large and wonderful to sit and have a cup of coffee or adult beverage at night. There is only chairs and side table on the patio...a dining table like we had before would be a welcome addition so you can dine outside. There is a pavilion overlooking the water with chairs and a picnic table. The landscaping is very nice.

Crossing the busy street to the pool The toilet was extremely low Window air conditioner was loud No hair dryer or iron Heather seemed preoccupied with many different things. Took along time to get checked in Floor in our room was very dirty. Had to make sur to wear shoes.

Did not know there even was a breakfast. No one told us about a breakfast.
