Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesHilton Membership I am planning to counsel. There's no such thing as "better prices" for our members. Maybe, because I'm not in the prestige or elite group. Every...time I book under my HM the price is higher than all! Booked for The Capitol Hill in DC, charging me higher than my Church' s group rate($229.00). Hilton Honors s $224 plus $25.00 extra for the third party (my granddaughter to sleep with me in a queen size bed). No micro and refrig.included. $25 each to use. I would like for Hilton Honors to express more gratitude for my choosing to have been a member.

United StatesThere was confusion with our reservation with Booking.com, didn’t know they took a dollar for an “deposit” then charge full price for the room before you check in when it says you don’t have to pay till check in on booking.com, we were at the water park and were freaking out because we couldn’t get our money to transfer for a good bit. Also I do not like that $20 is required on top of your room payment in case you want to buy snacks is what I was told, it should be an option!!! In all it was a great stay just wish this information was given before our stay.
