We had a broken chair in the room but maintenance did come and replace it. The morning we were leaving I had to kill 2 silverfish bugs. I let the young lady at the desk know when I checked out

Parking. Was terrible but not very good around the parking lot in certain places. However, this may not have been the responsibility of the property but did leave an impression.

The only issue I have experienced is sometimes, depending on the room you are given, the heating/AC unit can be noisy and/or difficult to adjust. I recommend checking this feature first thing upon arrival and asking for different room if there is any issue with that device. Another thing to keep in mind is navigating to the hotels in this area can be a little tricky on the first attempt using Google Maps (I have not tried other mobile app maps yet). However, just be prepared to miss a turn and pull into one of the local parking lots to turn around. A little patience with finding the turn goes a long way in cost savings at a perfectly excellent hotel (as long as you get an acceptable heating/AC device in the room).

I have stayed here many times. This hotel is very similar to other hotels right next door that cost more -- it is peaceful, clean, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is very good. I consider this hotel to be the best value for that area. You can pay more and get maybe a slightly better something, but to me it's not worth it when this hotel is mostly excellent. It is an approximately 10-15 min drive to Ft. Belvoir from here, and convenient to almost everything south of D.C. If driving north, I recommend leaving before about 0615, because the traffic starts to increase significantly after that time.

It was just a bit run down. The AC wa visibly broken but it did cool. There was a section of the marble counter that was broken over the toilet- it had been put back with caulk. lol they were stingy with the Dove Shampoo and didn't have an indoor pool. The staff were not rude but not very friendly and welcoming.

The bed sagged in the middle - we were rolling towards the middle of the bed. Breakfast would have been better had the chafing dish kept food warm (eggs were cool), and only one of the three toasters worked fully.

Quick and easy check in. Friend front desk staff. Clean. Free parking. Decent breakfast spread. Close to the 495/395 interchange.

The evironmental unit is a bit loud when it is in operation. It would be nice if it could be quieter. The loud air conditioner/heater defeats the room's sound proofing.

Breakfast was just right. Location is great for getting around Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. Staff is friendly and accomodating.

The parking situation was weird when the back door is locked at night. I didn’t necessarily feel unsafe walking at night all the way around the building to get to the front but I did seem unnecessary when there was a security guard on the premises.

I loved the breakfast that was set up. Every morning I got a hot waffle, eggs, croissant, yogurt and some juice to start the day. Divine.

Lighting in the parking lot should be improved. I parked around the rear and even though I was right next to the back entrance, I felt a little unsafe walking to and from my car. My room had some shoddily repaired damage to the vinyl flooring, just aesthetic really but made the place feel a bit cheap.

Good value, decent rooms and a convenient location for me. Breakfast is decent: always get a waffle, eggs were intact (!) not powdered, and the coffee is drinkable, which is more than I can say for most chains in this price range. All the parking is convenient and it's easy to pop out to a nearby restaurant to grab dinner.

Breakfast was so so; Internet access frequently dropped. Our room needed some renovation, for example, flooring in the bathroom was loose in places, no stopper in the bathtub-shower precluded using it for a bath, and control for the water in the bathtub-shower was difficult to regulate.
