Quick, easy booking. Self-service was perfect for my impromptu & short stay. The breakfast options were great; egg sandwiches were a nice surprise!

The bathroom sink and mirror were not clean. Everything else was perfect.

The location and atmosphere were great. It was on a quiet street, which we liked very much. We ended up departing before breakfast foods appeared, but we brought our own and appreciated the coffee and tea that was there.

    I liked it all.

Very laid back and relaxing. Very clean. Close to all the touristy stuff, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. I like kids, but the "no children" policy was nice, too. The decor was inviting and tasteful but still comfortable and functional. A perfect balance. Hawksbill House will be my first choice from now on. Thank you for a great stay!

The shower was touchy - hard to get hot water. Shower curtain should be washed more frequently. I'd suggest the easy-off Velcro type you see in some hotels to facilitate this. While the furniture is lovely, an easy chair would be so welcome after a day of hiking Shenandoah! A water dispenser would also be helpful. A bit more attention to breakfast set up would be good - the egg muffins were out of place so there was ham in my "veggie" muffin (The cooler was fully stocked, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't another guest mixing them up)

Can't beat the location! Easy drive into Shenandoah, Luray Caverns are close by, and the small town surroundings are charming. The Blue Ridge room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate with some delicious homemade egg muffins. It was helpful to have a mini fridge (thoughtfully stocked with a few drinks) and the ice machine in the shared kitchen. The hot tub was nice, but I would have appreciated some instructions as I didn't want to break anything.

Sorry don’t have anything. I loved everything about the property.

It was a quiet area. The house was well laid out and very well done. Walking distance to downtown. That was a big plus because we enjoy walking.

Some plain oatmeal would be nice.

Good location that was close to Shenandoah and Luray Caverns. Decent breakfast choices. Free beverages in fridge were a nice bonus. The Cavern room is a little small, but adequate. Check in was very smooth and easy.

Would have liked to have more cable channels. Missed my Morning Joe.

The Hawksbill House is a gem. Great stay the house was very clean and tastefully done. Quiet cozy room. The breakfast quiche was delicious and the coffee was very good. Loved the no standing in line filling out forms to get in the room. Close to some good restaurants, The Ollie Cat Cafe has a great menu and we really enjoyed our meal there. We also enjoyed the Rancho Diejo Grill. Very good southwestern food. I would highly recommend both places.

Heater was very difficult to control. either too warm or too cold. When we finally found a happy medium it constantly cycled on and off which was kind of annoying when trying to sleep. Temp seemed to fluctuate plus or minus almost 10 degrees and the unit is very noisy. Drain in sink was very slow and we had to watch it to keep the sink from filling up with water.

Great location and breakfast. Parking good. Charming building. Found a deck of cards in the chess box, thanks! (It would have been better if it was out in sight where we wouldn't have had to search for it.)

Gnats in the bathroom sink. Bathroom door didn’t lock. In general the space was a bit old and clunky and the floorboards were squeaky.

Check-in process was easy. Continental breakfast was nice. Parking was easy. TV had various streaming platforms installed but some you had to log in with your own account.

Not that I didn't like we didn't use the hot tub. Just wished the hot tub was closer to the house especially for the cold cold nights like our stay. Other than that great stay.

I loved the quietness, how clean it was and the complementary breakfast. The location was amazing from Luray Caverns which is where we spent my husband birthday getaway.

The water for the shower was a little cold. But also maybe it was just the knob.

I loved the hot tub and the nostalgic feel to the house. The manager also let me sleep in an extra hour and boy did I need it! I got engaged in luray caverns right after checking out. Can't wait to come back
