Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWe wish we were there in non wildfire season so we could have camp fire outside.
Stay in nature, with the tent and most of our basic amenities taken care of. Close to Crater Lake. Thank you Kori!

United StatesThe price tag for what you get is off, the teepee stay was fun but cost quite a bit per night. It was quite a bit more buggy than we were expecting, so come prepared for some bug spray or repellent.
Beautiful location, staying in the Teepee was very unique, especially with young kids. Unfortunately it was pretty dry and Smokey so we couldn’t have a bonfire, but I imagine if it was possible it would have been great!

United StatesWe were camping with our family and decided to give our kids a unique experience. They allow pets, and the owners were kind enough to allow our horse to camp with us. Check the weather before you go! It rained overnight but the teepee kept us dry. The hosts were incredible and helpful.

United StatesThe only thing I didn’t like was out of the owners control, which was the road traffic. Those diesel trucks are loud! It also seemed a bit pricey.
Directions about what to do were super clear, beds were comfortable and teepee clean. Bathroom was clean and close. Loved reliving my childhood at the teepees in Kahneeta. Appreciated the wood and the mosquito coil. No bugs at all, although I did spend the night with a cricket jumping on me! 🤣

UkraineIt was a little disturbing at night because of the sounds and rustles that the forest dwellers made - chipmunks and ..
My friends and I had an interesting experience of living in the forest. Thanks for the care of the owners for the firewood that we used during the evening gatherings around the fire. The hot water in the shower, which is located in the forest, was a pleasant surprise. Birdsong, wildflower scents and a wonderful sunset were a bonus. We will definitely recommend you to our friends who love such adventures.

United StatesSome crawling insects can still get into the tipi. We were worried about ticks getting into our ears, so we wore earplugs every night. The propane shower was subpar. Water was hot, but the water pressure is very high to a point that it had a piercing feeling on the skin.
New experience. The hostess was very welcoming and was very willing to help.

United StatesMy only complaint was the shower. It was a portable shower and essentially unusable as the water flexed between frigid and burning hot.
The teepee was almost magical, especially when the morning sun highlighted the art. Well supplied with sleeping mats and bags. We had a fabulous stay!

Staying in a Teepee was a treat! The kids absolutely loved it. Didn’t even realize there was a shower onsite and the water tastes amazing as it comes from crater lake:) The owner also let our kids help feed the horses in the morning and feed them treats. What a great experience!

United StatesI didn't like the fact that I didn't get more wood for the teepee but that was all on us. We should have brought more supplies.
I was a wonderful and comfortable place. I will be back during the summer. The owner is a wonderful and gracious person. We learned about the history of this ranch which is fascinating.

United StatesThat we didn't book this for more than 1 night. We would have loved to have stayed atleast 2 & explored more. Maybe a future trip is in order?
This was booked as a last minute weekend getaway from Salem to Crater Lake - with my daughters, grandkids & grand-dog. We got 2 tipi's. The hostess greeting us upon arrival & went over everything with us. Recommend a place in town for dinner, if we planned to eat out. We brought our propane grill with us though. She was very nice & told us what time they feed the horses in the morning & invited us to come & help if we wanted to (YES!!! Of course we were there in the morning for that!) It was such a fun experience & the grandkids especially LOVED it. Fire ban in place right now, but we were able to do a small fire inside the tipi, so smores still happened. The porta-potty was clean, well equipped with plenty of t.p. & hand sanitizer, no smell at all. The shower felt amazing, after a long & dusty day of sightseeing and traveling. We visited a nearby park with tons of frogs & the grandkids really enjoyed that! Drove quickly to another nearby park with a small beach & gorgeous Sunset view. Would be a nice place to cool off on a hot day! We star gazed in the late eve., & witnessed what we believed was UFO activity. Looked like a star, but a bit brighter, moving straight across the sky. Definitely not a plane, no blinking/flashing lights. Wasn't a comet, or shooting star, as it wasn't moving downward. After tracking it, it just disappeared. Not behind a tree & there were no clouds. It was just GONE. We witnessed this several times. The next morning, the hostess mentioned the area being a kinda hotbed for UFO activity & I got goosebunps and looked at my daughter. We told her what we'd seen & she was very familiar & confirmed what we had thought we'd seen. So cool! For those reviews talking about mosquitoes & bugs - we used the mosquito rings provided. No issues. We saw no bugs inside. It's NATURE & you're camping! Overall, I would recommend this place.
