The snack room was a pain becasue it wasn’t regular vending machine had to go to desk to pay and is using a card you had to spend 10$ and when I tried to use cash they didn’t have change and no one there to give the proper change

There wasn't much that we didn't like. The only thing that comes to mind is that the tv remote control was kinda gross and sticky. Other than that everything was great.

The hotel was very clean. The pool was clean. The breakfast was excellent and the hostess was very nice and helpful. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Unfortunately my trip coming up in November I found myself booking with Hampton Inn across the street for two reasons. 1) the cost is almost $100 difference and 2) on my last trip up in Sept (Sept 6th /Sept 7th to be exact) I went down to the lobby to the small little "store" next to the front desk at approx 2 am give or take to grab a couple of snacks (the hotel had my card on file as always at check in for such expenses). I stood at the counter for quite a few minutes calling to the back for whoever was on night shift that night to charge the two candy bars to my card on file for my room. No one ever appeared. However 5 minutes after getting back to my room the night shift employee came knocking on my door loud enough the neighbors next door opened their door to see the commotion. When I used the peep hole to see who it was I called out and asked how can I help you to the young woman and without identifying herself she screeched you just left the gift shop i said yes i got 2 candy bars she announces back well you have to pay for those. At this point I'm pretty sure that she is an employee but has yet to identify herself so I kept the inside latched but open the door as much as it would give and responded through the door you have my Cardinal file you're supposed to charge it to my room there was no one there when I was there calling out for somebody. At this point she gruffed and walked away. I have a couple of issues with this after being in customer service for as many years as I have first and foremost especially that time in the morning you always identify yourself secondly if you saw me there and saw enough to know what room I went back to why did you not come out while I was there. I do understand that night shift does have secondary responsibilities housekeeping where laundry may be concerned that sort of thing. however your primary concern is customer service first and foremost.

I stay every couple of months with my fiance (he works for UTE which is right next door) . Mariah on night shift and Sherry during the day are excellent!

Only thing that was annoying was that the shower head didn't work properly. The head showed signs of tarnish and corrosion. The water would only come out on the setting for the biggest holes, so the shower would either feel like you were using a garden hose (volume but no pressure, no spread) or at the end of a pressure washer (lot of pressure with not much volume). The outside rings of the shower head were totally gunk'd up. Disappointing after a long day working.

The breakfast was great. My daughter loved the pancake maker. The area was clean and inviting and was well stocked with everything that was offered. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The desk employees were nice and I didn't have to wait long at the desk to be attended to.

The ice machines weren't working. Breakfast/coffee were not the greatest. There was a smell in the halls and right outside the facility

We were located near rooms with dogs and the dogs did bark and the folks occupying the rooms yelled around quite frequently in the early morning.

even though we were there for just the one night, we were bummed that the pool was closed. i pick places that look like they have nice pools for my kid. the sign said it was closed for the week.

The pool area is very stuffy and hot. Staff tried to prop the door open with a trash can to help but it didn’t do much. They definitely need better ventilation in there.

The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable.
