Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe pool the gym and the elevators closed. The laundry room didn't wash the cloth right. We ended up taking it to the local laundry washeteria. They didn't have our original reservation so we got a different room from what we wanted. The room we got was next to the stairs so again as the elevators didn't work people kept going in and out from the stairs and slamming the door. So we could not get a good sleep the first 2 nights. We asked to switch rooms but they didn't have any like ours available. On the 3rd night they finally moved us to a different room but the sink was falling and had a big piece of board on the bottom and the shower head was broken. We just gave up as it was our last night there in Houston.
Leonard the general manager was the most polite and nicest person from the 4 people that i interacted with. Just because of him i give it a good review. The breakfast was ok. The lady putting everything out was nice and even helped out different people on how to use the equipment.

United StatesI was downgraded to a smaller room due to the room I reserved being on the third floor and the elevator being broken. I was not compensated in any way despite the room I stayed in being cheaper than the one I actually paid for. Also, the air conditioning was not great. I slept with the air set on 60 degrees, because of how warm the room was, and it clearly felt more like 72.
The staff was friendly, and the room itself was nice. The location was good as well, with a Starbucks and a Popeyes being literally right outside the front door. The breakfast was good, and the room/lobby/dining areas were kept clean and smelled fresh.

United StatesThe man in charge of the breakfast was rude and unprofessional. When we walked into the breakfast lounge, he was having a loud argument with a man. There were no cups left for coffee, and we had to look for them ourselves. After we looked in the drawers the man yelled at us “you can’t go in there”. I responded “you need to calm down”. He repeated what I said in a mocking way, and took out some cups. While we and other guests arrived at the lounge, he kept going out to the front of the hotel to smoke and speak to other people. Coming back he reeked of cigarette smell. Next morning we had a similar experience and we decided to get up and leave the breakfast. (Cold/old coffee, cold food, etc). Everything in our hotel experience was fine except for the breakfast situation on June 30 and July 1st.

Canada1. The T.V was a problem, not functioning well, not user friendly. We had to have someone come up and fiddle with it for a while to get the minimum service out of it. 2. The reception was not always manned when you called. 3. Breakfast options were very limited. 4. The house keepers shouted to each other across the hallways.
