The price for the room was expensive and when we arrived, the pool was closed due to an incident with a pool light. My kids were very upset about the pool as it was one of the highlights of the proposed stay.

the very, very long walks to hotel rooms down narrow serpentine & connecting hallways, that feel tunnel-ish need more elevators to shorten those walks my suite was tired and had a very odd design flow I couldn't find a route to the pool that didn't go through the lobby

exterior architecture - - especially the facade block material & design - main entrance and large public lobby area design front desk staff very friendly & professional the housekeeping person I spoke with was very friendly & helpful the bathroom towels

Few gluten free options for meals. 45$ US per night resort fee. Would have liked to have had microwave in room. For us personally we would probably look for a rental where we could cook some meals for ourselves.

My husband booked the resort as a birthday celebration for me, which falls on 4th of July weekend. The view of the hotel is beautiful and it’s quiet and so relaxing. I was really looking forward to a spa day to get pampered but it didn’t happen. apparently they only have ONE person who performs prenatal messages and she was out for the weekend… They should definitely have more than one… Also the hotel needs some upgrading badly. The doors have gaps big enough that bugs can crawl inside, i kept finding bugs in the bathroom and entrance to the room. The doors looked like they have been painted over numerous times and they look tacky. I used the iron to iron my husbands dress shirt and it left a huge stain on it, looked like someone had melted something on it and didn’t notice until I saw the stain. & lastly the pools were disgusting. so many bugs. My husband had to use the net to get some bugs out before we got in. It was okay overall.

The service at the hotel restaurant was below par. For two days in a row I sat down at tables that hadn't been sufficiently cleaned. On both days i had to ask for someone to clean the table. This is a basic function of a restaurant of this caliber. Drinks were served in incorrect glass types (espresso served in a teacup on one day, then next it was served in an espresso cup with a teacup saucer). A small thing to be sure but not what you'd expect from this hotel restaurant. When we ordered food as a group 2 of the 8 of us didn't recieve their food in what appears to be a miscommunication by the serving staff and the kitchen. I ended up looking for food beyond the restaurant. The parking gates appeared to continually malfunction leaving guests (including myself) a bit frustrated.

Gorgeous setting. Nice hotel. Easy access to national parks. Safety and security was well managed. Nice outdoor areas including the pool.

No Valet available. Hotel did not have my reservation. Constant deafening construction right next to main pool. Very limited food choices. We had black particles in the ice cubes from our drinks we purchased from room service Serenity pool was dirty and main pool spa wasn't hot and very buggy. Worst thing was the construction from 6 am till 5. My third floor balcony was literally vibrating. Even when we closed the sliding door we could hear the pounding and sawing. It was like spending 3 nights at the dentist's office.

We stayed three nights and two of those nights our A/C wasn’t working. After two requests to get it fixed we spent two nights sweating to death. They were short staffed in the valet and the pool service. When I checked out and asked for a manager there wasn’t one available. The front desk offered to waive my resort fees. I felt with two miserable nights trying to sleep, something more appropriate was warranted. The hotel looks tired. I feel it’s just a lack of management. We would not go back. The Flying V restaurant was great!!

should not charge for parking. a very expensive hotel to begin with plus resort fees etc so trying to nickel and dime guests by having them pay $15 extra/night for parking seems mean and petty.

The resort allows dogs on furniture in lobby bar. Dog hair was on the furniture and the staff doesn’t care. The spa is hard to get someone to talk to. The massage therapist was great but not good reception experience.

The room is clean and good view. The front desk was friendly and check in was easy. The restaurant is good.

Room smelled kind of musty and air in line in the shower when first turned on. Wood burning fireplace but no wood? Bed not too comfortable and no extra blankets.

staff was split between professional friendly members and rude unprofessional ones the hotel is very big, sometimes impersonal, and despite our selection of rooms with the view, our 2 bedrooms were on the parking lot. We were able to change one of them for a better view (but not the one we booked for)

Pool too crowded. Pool Drinks were too expensive and pool bartender was rude. Elevator looked worn as did pool area at lower adult pool. Stains on surface areas; no drinking cups for water.

when advertised that the room had a view of the mountains was actually totally blocked by trees . also someone had thrown clothes into the branches which was very disappointing- and left their during the 2 days that we were there. the restaurant for breakfast was very disappointing as we waited for over 20 minutes to be greeted and then seated. service was extremely slow and basic things like coffee and cream had to be requested several times. The next day at the dinner restaurant “ Flying V” we again received very poor service and appetizer was extremely late to arrive- and cold when it finally did. took 30 minutes to get a second glass of wine.
