TV did not work and staff was not responsive. Had to request more than one towel because there were two of us and had to wait until the next morning because staff was unresponsive.

Rude staff. There’s no one there 24 hours - I almost had to leave a note asking to keep my luggage because I had to leave the hotel and it was my check out date. I tried to call them several times and no one answered. Also they charged me 10 dollars in cash to keep my luggages after my check-out - you can read a comment from them that says that it would charge only if it was overnight. It’s been 2 days that I’ve been waiting for my receipt from the luggages.

Heat didn't work in the room. No elevator so you have to carry luggage up many flights of stairs. But I knew that when booking it and didn't care. Not a big deal for ME, but important to note. Incredibly small room, but that might just be how things are in NYC.

Room and bathroom was clean. Location right next to Penn Station. Simplicity at check-in. Person at front desk was nice.

I wish it was a little more quiet as you can hear a lot of loud honking as if the window is open. (When it clearly wasn’t). Also I wish there was a fridge to keep left over food. Wifi is iffy.

GREAT for the price!!! If you want to save a little extra money and be super close to the city and Penn station this is the place to stay. But you also have to expect that it’s no Hilton hotel.

Literally everything else about this property was bad! From security to the bed linens, mold in the shower, cleanliness of the walls, old/out dated furniture. By the looks of the room, I did not feel comfortable laying on the bed, so I went out and bought sheets for the bed.

bed sheets wasn’t clean ( some stains on it ) and in WC as well as if they didn’t get cleaned properly . On towels and different spots in bed sheets I found some black hairs which were obviously not mine( see the pic).As I checked in and came to room the room was very cold . I tried to turn on the heater but it wasn’t functioning. I went to reception and they gave me a portable heater for my stay there which I put right straight to my bed so I can go to sleep.

Only one person at desk to receive guest and he too disappeared early morning when I was supposed to check out. He had told me in advance to just drop the key at reception and check out.. The room was very small. The passage to room smelled of cigarette or drugs. When I checked out early morning at 6.15 am I realised how unsafe I had been all night. The reception was dark without lights, there was no one manning the reception or the entrance and on top of it all the entrance or exit remained unlocked all night.

Next to a very busy road and the window did not shut, so you can hear the traffic noise very loudly all night - earplugs did nothing to help. Also it was a bit cold because you couldn’t shut the window. En suite had no fan so when you showered the room was really steamy and took ages to dry.

Good location, right near Penn station so easy to get to from the airport. Only about 15 mins from Times Square so very convenient. Room was basic but comfortable.

The staff. They seem not to care about the guest. They barely talk and, if you are like, you can get an answer from them. I stayed one the night and the guy in the from desk was very rude, looking at his cell all the time and almost bothered by my questions.

The place is very clean.
