No elevator, and so had to drag my suitcase up and down steep stairs. Since there are never staff there on purpose, no one to ask for help.

Easy walk to food and the Lakeshore trail

Mother Nature’s Inn was in a great location in Tahoe city. Close to the waterfront with many excellent restaurants for food and drinks. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor was in keeping with that of the area and culture and could see it had been carefully and thoughtfully put together.

We had a very nice stay. The room was nice and quiet with comfy beds. The locations was also great with nice restraunts and shops up and down both sides of the street the Inn is located on. When we visit the area again we will certainly stay here!

There’s no staff so it’s all very impersonal with automated messages and entry codes. The pictures of what seems to be the lobby is in fact the unrelated shop next door. The fridge is making a lot of noise.

Cozy comfy rooms with all facilities you need right next to the lake.

Very cute little property right in the heart of Tahoe City. Easy access and very comfortable. Wish they had some more parking but was able to find some in the lot in the back. Would stay here again!

I found the mattress too cloudy and my preference is for a mattress to be firm, so I sleep more comfortably. This is a down side for me but for some people it may not be.

The hotel is well located in the main area of Tahoe City. Easy to grab a cup coffee when leaving in the morning and to get a meal at night. There are stores nearby to visit. It kind of "faces" Lake Tahoe - you cannot see the lake from your window - because it is on the main street, so every time you leave the property you will have the beautiful views of the lake. It is a good space for two people. The room is warm and well decorated accordingly to the place. There is a book in the room explaining how to handle the nature around the lake and we found it really useful.

Instructions to access the building could be more clear. I was confused about where to go in.

Cute little place, SOO convenient to everything. Nice to have an affordable place to take the pugs. Shower could have been a little cleaner but everything else was great!

Thin wall that I could hear people snoring in next room. Towels has black thread on them; wish they provide more water in the room besides the one mini bottle , and reception is closed throughout the stay so no place to buy water other than driving

Location is good with close parking, many restaurants around as in Tahoe city downtown. Lake is close just across street. Bed is ver comfortable

Rooms are a bit small and behind a shop on the main street. There is no front desk and when we visited, the shop was closed. Thankfully, we were able to call the owner and they were super responsive! (side note- if you are booking this place to ski at the Palisades Tahoe resort, leave early because there is a slow moving traffic from Tahoe City)

Great location, on the main street of the Tahoe City. You could walk to many restaurants and cafes in Tahoe City. Tesla charger is just a couple of mins away. Rooms are nicely done with a personal touch of mother nature theme. Checkin is seamless with a digital lock and unique code created for the booking.

The initial 8 day stay was good, however once my initial stay was up i booked another 3 nights because my work accommodation at Palisades ski resort was not ready yet, i then got a message from Palisades 2 hours after i had extended my stay at the inn for 3 nights to say that that my accommodation was now ready, however the Inn was not prepared to waiver the cancellation fee even though i cancelled very shortly (literally hours) after my booking which was extremely disappointing considering i had just paid for an 8 day stay at the Inn. Booking.com sent the Inn a message requesting the waiver of the cancellation fee but this was ignored by the Inn.

Location was good right in the middle of Lake Tahoe town. All the communication with the Inn back and forth before my stay was excellent. All Queries were answered timeously.

It is too hard to answer this question, because I can not think about anything I didn't like. Everything is excellent even exceeded my expectations! Ok, I must say... the answer is ZERO!

We enjoyed our time in Mather Nature's Inn! Not only my husband and I and my two kids, but also my giant puppy German shepherd Leo. It’s impressive that so many details about wood, bear, natural fill in the room, so designed and creative! I love the style! 👍 And the location is great, we could easily walk to the supermarket and the good restaurants in less than 10 minutes! We are looking forward to spend a couple of days here in summer !

    1. They charge less on their direct website than on Booking. I’ve been booking.com customer for years, I like my rewards, and I like experience booking on the app and I feel very disappointed to find out that the hotel charge booking.com customers more. Next time I will still book on Booking, but probably not this hotel. 2. They don’t have reception, on one side it’s nice, as I enjoyed easy self check in, but on other hand when you need something, you can’t get ahold of anyone. 3. Their Wifi s bad

    Nice location, easy check in.

It is a small lovely hotel with warm and homelike ambiance. I ordered around Chirstmas and the price seems to indicate it was a motel, but it was not. All the appliances are working properly. No smells, no inconvenience, no deficiency. Everything is very pleasant.

Mother's Nature's Inn is a quaint spot with a friendly and welcoming staff via phone only, and our room was clean. However, it's worth noting that the facility itself seems a bit run down. It's a fine choice for a one-night stopover when you're passing through the area, but it might not be the best for an extended stay.

The cabin is very small, but it’s good for two of us. We didn’t know where to get more towels, we could have asked.

We stayed for 2 nights per paid around US$300 a night. There was no housekeeping. It could be usual but we saw a card at the bathroom stating if you would like your towels changed place them on the floor. So we did and returned to the room in the evening with no towels changed. Left with damp towels for the second night. The motel also felt like built w thin materials, could hear the neighbors sounds. No lake view from room too.

Cute deco, great location near the lakeside, shops and restaurants.
