Only negative thing was with Booking.com. Could not communicate with owners- would only scroll and scroll. They were very nice and communicative- I looked silent- when I was trying to share my thankfulness.

We rented Casa Oso for the Christmas holidays. The house is beyond gorgeous, very spacious, and comfortable. It is well kept and very clean. It also had all amenities that our family needed during our stay. The inside is super cozy, and nicely furbished. The outside areas are clean, well-kept, and safe. The towns of Mariposa and Oakhurst were at close distance, and the drive to Yosemite State Park was within a reasonable distance. Communications with the owner went very well. Maja and Anne were always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations or advice on the region and close towns. We loved every minute of our stay, and hope to return soon in the near future. Casa Oso is highly recommended!

Exceptional location and views. Turnkey homely comfort all round - fireplace (outdoors and indoors), spa, tastefully decorated, bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, kitchen was amazing with labels for easy access/labels. Top notch luxury

It is not easy to find the house number when you arrive by car at night. Others have few drawbacks.

Big wooden house, well equipped, with parking and charging piles. The hillside behind the house is covered with grass. The air is fresh and you can see the sunrise over Yosemite.

Nothing. Guests should just plan to do a grocery run or get gas for your vehicle before heading all the way to the cabin. It was not far for town amenities, we just recommend to get the things you would need before heading all the way to the cabin.

The cabin was spacious, comfy, and had beautiful views. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking needs. About an hour from Yosemite which was not bad. Overall, great spot to escape for a little bit!

Beautiful house on a beautiful location with great views. Comfortable house with nice bedrooms, bathrooms in a nice design. You have all what you need. Last but not least the jacuzzi is exciting especially in the dark with view of the stars

The main bath tub water was rusted. (So we didn’t use) The ice in the fridge never came out. If there is s’more kit which will be nicer.

The location of the property was quiet and calm. The decoration was super cozy and cute barn look. We see some wild animals like a rabbit and deers. Kids loved them.

Wonderfully crafted and decorated wooden log lodge with views of the surrounding mountains, it is like something out of the TV drama Yellowstone. Ideal location to relax and enjoy the views and only about an hour's drive from Yosemite. Near (20 minutes) to the town, Oakhurst, that has grocery shops, restaurants, bars, fast food takeaways. Worth visiting to stock up before driving to the lodge. Benefited from having a hot tub next to the lodge where you can admire the vista sipping a glass of wine. This lodge is quality and perfect for a relaxing time near to the Yosemite attractions. Lodge had all the kitchen and washing facilities to cook your own food and wash your clothes. Loved the open plan living room and kitchen plan. Lodge offers fast WiFi but the phone signal is poor.

absolutely amazing place ! we were here for 3 nights, it was nice and cozy, fully equipped and the beds were so comfortable the only bad thing about casa oak Is that you don’t want to leave!
