Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesOne of the bedrooms smells funny, I couldn't tell if it is mold or something due to a recent painting. The mattresses and pillows are not comfortable, definitely need replacement. I would recommend people to bring their own pillows.
Location, facilities, apartment layout for +3 adults is excellent, good kitchen. Pool and barbecue area. Covered parking. Easy access to the beach.

United StatesThe elevators were broke upon arrival and only one "kindof" worked throughout or stay. No one was in the office during working hours as it was posted on the sign. Wrong access code was provided and could not enter the room until contacting support. No parking pass was in the room and received a warning on our car over night as we did not receive the pass until later the next day. Cones blocked the entrance to the parking garage under the building event though there were available parking spots. The washer was broken in the unit and we had to hand wash our items. The handle on the dryer was broken so it made it challenging to even dry the clothes after hand washing them.
The view from the balcony and location of the property was great.

United StatesWe had to call to get a new code because the one we had didn't work, so we got in late. The washer was broke, so we had to bring wet sandy clothes back home (we got a condo for this reason). They entered our room while we were gone without our permission, then tried to say they called us when we had no missed calls. voicemails or texts. Friday and Monday, they had only 1 elevator in service, so it could take up to 20 minutes to get an elevator, which made it take forever to get anywhere.
The view of the beach was amazing.

United StatesReview stated 5 weeks ago that washer/dryer unit was broken and the fans were filthy yet the listing stated that there was a washer/ dryer working in the unit. After traveling 1200 miles would have never picked this unit if had know washer/dryer was not fixed! Was given a whole $100 credit back on unit but wasting our time going to laundromat was not worth it yet alone at $5.50 just a load to wash and dry! Then dishwasher didn’t clean well so had to hand wash all dishes! Not my idea of a fun vacation! The villa has potential but not when vital appliances don’t work! Also stove top burners are lopsided so nothing cooks eventually and someone wrote that a plug in kitchen does not work. Fire hazard. My issue is why wasn’t all this work done when it was notified 5 weeks ago when first notified on reviews? Don’t rent at this place unless you want to waste your whole vacation doing house with work! Also they have these tiny blanket like sheets on beds. We were freezing! Asked for them to send over blankets and sent over one more of those sheet like blankets! Nice huh? Whole place was a joke! Yes about ceiling fans again… so filthy you didn’t even want them over your head if you had any allergies or wore contacts, which my niece and I did! Scary! How hard is it to clean them? That was mentioned in review 5 weeks ago too! Whole place needs complete overhaul! Oh forgot floors! They are beautiful until you walk on them without shoes! Don’t! They are filthy too! Your feet will turn black from the dirt! Who knows when last time mopped!!! Done with this horrible review! Never again!
