How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We stayed in the king room with view, but we were looking at a bunch of construction. Once the construction is done the view would be great. We only chose the king view for the view.

Breakfast choices were terrible, we picked this hotel over another because of the free breakfast being the tie breaker and ended up having to go get breakfast elsewhere because they had one hot option and a few muffins / fruit. Not even cereal or anything for kids.
Clean, quiet hotel. Good location. Staff was friendly and the pool was nice.

They did not offer a full breakfast which made it very unfriendly. of course it was due to Covid but Covid has overstayed its welcome. People were in the elevators, pool, lobby and dinning area together; no mask mostly and no complaints. And WHERE HAVE YOU PUT THE MICROWAVES!!!!!!!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious.

The staff was great ! Very helpful and attentive. Keep up the great work. The hotel was very clean and everything worked as it should. The area is nice with a lot to do.

This is a very nice hotel an a great area with lots of stores and restaurants close by. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was grab and go due to Covid, but had good breakfast burrito's, muffins, fruit, coffee and juice. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again!

We stayed in a deluxe king room with plenty of space and a great view. The location is amazing, the staff were super friendly, the room was comfortable and quiet and clean. It felt like we were on a vacation. I loved everything about our stay!

I know it's due to covid, however with a longer stay, I would like the option to have my room vacuumed at least once during the week especially since breakfast is eaten in the room.
The staff was genuinely friendly and very helpful.

The only thing I would recommend is a place for dogs to potty. Provide some grassy area and provide potty bags. The room size was great but having 3 dogs in a room they need space to roam outside but not a huge deal was still a great place to stay!!!

I wish there was more variety for breakfast. especially a hot breakfast. We had 3 mornings there and each one was an egg and sausage burrito. I would like to have had more free drink options for breakfast like orange juice or milk. Our bathroom door didn't latch.
The location was great, near where our daughter lived and easy to get to and from. The rooms were comfortable. The pool was clean and the kids enjoyed it. We liked that no one had to come in and clean our room each day. We just had to leave our towels and trash outside the door each day. They had a friendly staff that helped us with what we needed.

Parking is horrible. It doesn’t take much time if the hotel is busy for you to have to result in parking far away to get a parking space, the parking lot is narrow in the front and rear with one parking row only. The hotel itself is long and narrow so parking is sparse
Good location things to do around the area. The rooms are nice and clean. My third stay I was given a smaller room with a walk in shower which I wasn’t crazy about the room size but it was comfortable.

Fake scrambled eggs daily, French toast sticks not good, pool was closed even though when booking a month ago said would be fixed, parking free but difficult to find after 4 pm when neighboring Resteraunt opens or a meetup g event in the conference center.
Hotel hot breakfast was complimentary is always nice. Hard boiled (shelled) eggs, sausage links, seasoned potatoes were good. Fresh fruit/yogurt was very nice. Juice selection was ok, adding cranberry too would add. Cereal and breads good. Resteraunt food was ok (priced alittle high) but plenty of Resteraunts near by 0.5 miles. Rooms were good size and clean overall. Room enough for kids to move around. TV selection of channels good. Quiet overall once in room and elevators are fast. Hotel staff self enforces rules on kids that get out of line.
