Property was fantastic, my son cut his foot badly in the pool ( broken water feature at the bottom of the pool ) . Rooms were nice, food was good, bar help and facilities was good, wait staff was good . Front desk needs more help, freedom boat club at that location was awesome, really nice value.

The room was dirty mirrors had hand marks on them counters. Had coffee stains on them. Hair in the shower were sticky. Try to talk to housekeeping, but no English and gave me dirty looks I understand everything was outdated, but it could’ve at least been clean. What a shame.

Older property- that clearly has the right intention but its just old.

It had all the activities - adventure center. Pool- etc The rooms had no carpet- which was great- and you could smell the thorough cleaning they gave it before we entered.

It’s a little worn out and could definitely use some updates. This was most obvious in our bathroom.

I liked the ambience and the fact that there were multiple activities available onsite.

Restaurant/ Breakfast was not up to par, but that could have been a one time thing, the rooms could use a little more updating (perhaps a recaulking or Grout in showers and possibly replacing some showers or tub basins with new.)

The resort is in one of the most beautiful locations and has so much to offer. I can't honestly say anything bad about the place but would like to mention that it has the potential to be so much more than it is. Plantation Resort first caught my eye online with the beautiful photos and proximity to the 3 sisters' springs. Upon check-in, I noticed the lobby felt like I traveled back in time. A beautiful round staircase leads upstairs, and the dining room and bar were just off to the side. The hotel has a little bit of an antiquated feel, but that's what I was hoping for! The resort has so much to offer, from massages to outdoor activities, restaurants, a bar, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the water. We weren't 100% satisfied with our first room due to the noise and location, but the front desk was happy to accommodate and moved us to a suite with a king bed! The customer service and staff are all amazing, and the hotel/ resort definitely has the potential to be the nicest resort in the area. Beds were clean and comfortable, food was ok (maybe go elsewhere for breakfast), and the staff and resort grounds are second to none. I will definitely be staying here again next time I come up to visit my brother.

My room had not been dusted, the rooms weren’t sound proof f, we had a big gap under the door leading to the hall, the hallways were tile and very loud, we could hear conversations in the hall and adjoining room. Need sound proofing!!! A huge distraction.

Loved all the amenities on the property - the tours, swim with manatees, tiki bar, pool, jacuzzi, activities, Location, golf course and helpful staff.

Our key card did not work for our outside seating area door. And we couldn't get in through our front door bc we put that lock on inside the door. It took a long time for my husband to find someone to help us get in, and we were cold and wet from the pool. The restaurant food was not that great, and the homemade bright blue and red tortilla chips I had were definitely not homemade. Service was very slow, as well.

The outside environment was nice, just a bit muddy after the rain. I also think we came during some renovations. Our room was fine, but we could clearly hear the room next to us- their talking and their tv. The location was conveniently near the manatee attractions.

Pool was closed after dark due to the lights being out, so no swimming or hot tube after hours.

Right on the river which was great! The views were amazing.

The Tiki Bar was closed all day and night. Our room was supposed to be recently renovated but the paintwork was old and chipped. Our tv didn’t work but they sent for a technician who finally managed to get it going. In the tea/coffee/sugar basket they only provided powdered milk. No liquid milk sachets. At the price we paid, they should have provided complimentary bottled water per person. Noisy fridge.

Breakfast and the breakfast staff. We had a riverside view which was nice. Lots of towels. Linens were good. Plenty of pillows.

The resort restaurant,pool & hot tub were out of service as a result of damage from Hurricane Idalia. Nonetheless, our stay was fantastic & more than memorable thanks to all the exceptional staff members!

We we're given exceptional service to help us enjoy our 16th anniversary! Aylin at the front desk went above & beyond with special arrangements for us! We are so greatful we chose to stay at the Plantation Resort for our stay in Crystal River!

They could have done a better job in letting guests know the situation due to hurricane. We tried multiple times to call. The phone answer with the standard message but we couldn't get hold of anyone. They should have changed the message to inform guests. Or put something up on their website. Or send out mass text message. We drove all the way down there without knowing what we would run into.

Considering it was in the aftermath of hurricane Idalia, the staff was great. But one of the amenities were available.

Many details not tended to which I would have expected from a property marketing as a timeshare: mildew on bathroom ceiling, all hallways needed vacuuming and wet wash, stained linens, bath faucet would not completely turn off, rust etc.

Canal view, walkable paths, nice pool area, huge room with 2 beds and pull out, friendly staff, lots of amenities!
