Arrived at 3 pm and was told that checking was at 4 pm. And so it was, a not even a minute early. We tried staying at the property because we were tired from all the driving, but the beach access is not ideal for swimming. There are kayaks for use but were faded and the gear looked degraded,just old and/or not well maintained, frankly, nothing in the outdoor looked inviting, not even the pool, the bathrooms outside are desperately in need of an update. They were not clean, there was no toilet paper and paper towels.

Our room had 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths had been upgraded and was clean and nicely decorated. Love the Full kitchen, buy don’t think that you will be cooking as the pots are very cheap and everything will stick to it.

First, and most important...This place charges a significant resort fee that wasn't added to final price on booking. My room was originally $220 ( which I felt was reasonable), but ended up at $291 after resort fee was added on. This isn't exactly a resort. Yes, they have an ocean view, but calling it a resort is a far fetched!!! It's a nice ocean view back yard with a rocky shoreline. There were chairs and umbrellas set up. There are kayaks available to use for 2 hours, but the kayaks are in less than good shape. I feel as though the resort fee added on to the final bill is unwarranted. I would not consider this place a resort. It's an oceanview hotel. Also, the office closes at 8 pm. What resort doesn't have someone on staff 24 hours a day? A quick Google search says this about resorts... (A resort is a commercial establishment that offers many of the things a vacationer wants, including food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment, and shopping. Resorts are similar to hotels, but offer more accommodations, amenities, and activities. Resorts are often great for families and can attract travelers who want to make new connections. They also offer a wide range of activities, such as sports, non-motorized water sports, and other activities.) There is a small, but very overpriced restaurant, older kayaks and bicycles....however, the only place you can ride the bikes is on the highway outside the resort. The breakfast was just ok. I've had much better breakfast at a regular hotel, that also has a pool, hot tub, restaurant and ocean view....without trying to call itself a resort and hiking the price. Our room (room 3), was very beautifully decorated and pleasing to the eye. However, it was right next door to the restaurant and it was quite noisy until after 10 pm. The sound of clanging dishes was nonstop. The bottles of shampoo and conditioner were empty when I went to take a shower.

Great location and easy to find. The outside was beautiful and tastefully done. The ocean view back yard was quiet and serene, (although the sand was not soft. I needed shoes because the sand was rocky) Nice cozy and beautifully decorated room. The shower was great and the toiletries were good quality which I was very pleased with. Small but Decent complimentary breakfast, very comfortable beach chairs, very nice pool and hot tub. Serene / tranquil environment with an amazing sunrise view.

The accommodations were very clean but could have been better furnished. I like to have night stands and lights on both sides of the bed. But really no complaints

Location and amentities were great as was all the staff. Everything was well maintained. Breakfast was included and in the evening the restaurant provided a fine dining experience with a nice wine selection.

The small apartment was perfect for us, and the pool and hot tub and the sandy beach and the hermit crabs and small fish right out front was great for the kids. The sun rises were amazing as were the breakfasts...it worked perfect for our ever expanding multigenerational family!!!

They booked us in the wrong room, the description on booking.com and the actual rooms that they gave us did not match even though I had called the property ahead of time to confirm. The night manager however rectified the mistake and gave us the correct room-she tried to tell us it would be more expensive but the morning manager said that since it was the hotel’s fault, they wouldn’t charge us anything more.

Our room was advertised as a 2 bedroom, it wasn't. It was a queen in one bedroom, and a king in the living room so zero privacy. Definitely not as advertised. It was very nice, we just wish we had known it wasn't actually a 2 bedroom, we would have booked it differently. The sofa beds are very uncomfortable but if you have children it would be fine. Adults definitely wouldn't be able to comfortably. I would stay here again but would find out which rooms were legitimately 2 bedrooms.

The location is great, breakfast is really good, staff are friendly, the beach is gorgeous and it's close to amenities.

The only issue we had was in one of the days we were there the cook was ill and it took a very long time to get our breakfast and we weren’t able to get what we ordered
