Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room was very clean and when i first arrived they didn't have room available due to short of staff, but once clean they did allow me to check in early which was great! the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful

United StatesI had my sign out for service for 3 days but never got service. The front desk did provide more towels and the woman in laundry as well. Trash built up however and I ran out of coffee. Not a huge deal.
The rooms were clean, beds were nice, no stains or bad pillows. Very comfortable. Easy access. Staff was friendly. Hotel was safe and had great views. Would definitely stay again.

Room was decent. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have a microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. Location was great for walking to a nearby bus stop, and taking public transportation into the city.

CanadaMany people at the hotel take the bus to NY. If you miss the express you must walk a mile to catch it at another stop. Download the New Jersey transit app to pay . Our room was only cleaned once during the week stay.
Location was good on the River. We took the city bus every day to Times Square (30-60 minutes depending on if you got the 9am or earlier express) Liquor store, subway, Wendy’s and Duncan donuts accross the street. Safe, secure and great value. Would stay again.
