Parking lot/garage was a bit tight; however, considering the age of the building and location, I was just happy to be able to get free parking.

The location was the highlight of my stay in this hotel. I was only in SF for an overnight work trip and only needed some place that was close to cheap food--so that I could have something to eat when I arrived & in the morning when I checked out in the morning. It was also imperative that the hotel was close to a major road to get me to the freeway as quickly as possible. This hotel met both of those needs. Also, while it was not the Shangri La, it was a decent place to lay my head for the night. I did not feel unsafe nor did I feel like bed bugs would be carrying me out of the room in the middle of the night. It's a budget friendly hotel close to City Hall and, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

The elevator worked 10% of the time and when the elevator was at the ground floor, the door to get in the property wouldn’t work with the key card due to the faulty electrical system.

The elevator is old and small, so I opted for the stairs to get to the third floor. You'll likely encounter street people in this neighborhood, but none of them spoke to or approached me.

The location was convenient to a concert and after- party (so a late night). I was only intending to sleep and shower here. In SF, this is a good value. Rooms not facing the street are quieter. My bathroom had been nicely remodeled, and overall, the room was clean and comfortable. There's limited but free parking on- site; huge bonus in this city! I walked to a nearby restaurant, Son & Garden, to treat myself to the most incredible breakfast I can recall having. I'll definitely consider staying at this Rodeway Inn Civic Center again!

The WiFi was appallingly slow, it made it very difficult to even view pictures online.

We stayed there 9 years ago, it is obvious that the rooms have been renovated and much improved since then.

the bed works for a night but the mattress was not so comfortable, if you need to work online the internet barely works. I had a little discussion with the lady at the counter about the parking spots, cos they don't have enought and if you don't find you must park in the street, but she was right that they had that advertised on the post on booking, in the additional rules, I didn't saw that when I book this place. by luck I find a spot this time, but normally I don't book a place where I can't park.

Very loud, you can hear everything going on outside the room. Doors slamming shut people yelling for some unknown reason. Loud vehicles outside (garbage trucks?) Skid rows down nearly every street around it.

We booked a room at the Rodeway Inn because the location was walking distance from our favorite San Francisco restaurant and the Opera House, where we were attending a ballet performance. The room was simple and basic, but clean and quiet.

The reception has a guard partition and was suited outside like a drive-through (but on-site of the building). I wasn't sure whether the area was safe for a solo traveller or maybe not. It will be the option to book for the next time I travel to San Fransisco. I think I'll book a bit closer to the centre and a safe feel location.

The room was clean and spacious for a solo traveller. Everything was good enough and what I expected. In a way, it was a reasonable price with a comfortable room.
