There was initially only one bedside table and light in the bedroom, which seemed odd, although the team did find another table and lamp. The air conditioning was either off or blowing an intermittent gale in the bedroom, Greater control of fan speed would have been appreciated. There was a random selection of kitchen equipment- one large pan, one giant stockpot, nutribullet and cocktail making kit but no frying pan- although every thing was good quality.

The flat was a great size and well designed. Mid-century style furniture. We got a decent-sized living room with comfortable sofa, kitchen area, bathroom, bedroom and washer/dryer, so loads of space. There was a kettle along with coffee equipment so we could make tea, but no teapot :-( The location was good, near Macy's, an organic supermarket and a Trader Joe's. The reception desk staff were unfailingly helpful and keen to make our stay a good one.

The only blemish I could think of is navigating the parking garage (finding it and finding our way out) was a little tricky, but nothing too bad.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with easy access to parking and restaurants. The rooms themselves were nicely decorated and clean. It is not a high-end luxury facility, but you are not paying for one so don't expect it. Perfect for business, or as a couple spending a night in the city!

I would have liked more frequent cleaning to be included in the price rather than once a week but I managed fine. If you need a space to work then I’d fork out for a unit with the den as it was very difficult to work for long periods at the kitchen counter or the coffee table.

Awesome modern apartment in a perfect location with all the amenities you need. I’ll be using Roost East Market for all my business trips going forward.

The property is modern, well appointed and clean. The additional amenities were excellent. The cinema room, yoga studio and gym were amazing. And, though I didn’t get to use it, the heated pool was large and clean. The staff were the politest and engaging crew I have met in the US. Very authentic, not the “I’m kind because I hope you’ll tip me” type. Frank was a consummate concierge, ready to suggest places to go, food to eat - each place was absolutely spot-on. I’ll definitely return soon!

Difficult to find - they need a BIG Roost sign beside the door. Currently all that you see is a sign for The Girard above the entrance and a small Roost sign beside the doors

I was taken aback at first by the long term residents’ walking about with their dogs in the building. It was fine after that when I got used to it.

Staff were helpful, I appreciate Jacklyn and Robert at reception, helpful and friendly. Aminath was really good and went all the way out to assure me my payments were correct, took time to explain and talk to me. My apartment at 502 was great, clean, great views, great natural lights from windows on both sides of the room. Kitchen is well equipped. Bed and pillows were comfy. Location is excellent.

The apartment is very well equipped with real kitchen (range, dishwasher fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee machine, water boiler), washer/dryer, decorations even real plants. Floor to ceiling windows so very luminous. Amenities are great, with outside heated pool, fitness+studio, several rooms where you can spend time relaxing, even a guest kitchen and outdoor BBQs. Staff is great, very attentive, we were helped to change apartment for one with a desk. And location is very good, 1 block from food shopping, 3 blocks to city hall and Reading Terminal market. Parking garage in same block.

So I know this may sound weird and I don't think I ever will say it again but the water pressure was on another level, at least in room 707. Like it had absolutely no chill. Additionally, I must say that the toiletries smelled great but don't even bother with the lotion. It is essentially scented water. Like my shirts still smell great BUT I was needing to moisturize my hands again before I finished with my legs.

I really enjoyed the location, it is a block away from the Jefferson station and there are many restaurants near by. It was nice to have all the amenities of home, inclusive of in-unit laundry. Speaking of amenities, there are no complaints regarding the Wi-Fi or gym facilities. One of the biggest things the property has going for it though is the phenomenal customer service. Specifically want to thank Jazz and Alea (you a real one) for the AMAZING hospitality and suggestions while I was in town. I am including a picture of the hand drawn map Alea gave me to help ensure I got to places.

Our room didn't have a coffee grinder, although the staff offered to bring one up. By then we didn't need it so all good. Oh, the pillows were…not awesome. I'd definitely recommend replacing them.

We were just in for a quick weekend, but everything was lovely. It was great to have the Bose or Sonos (I can't remember) speaker for listening to music. The kitchen had everything we needed. All members of the staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly.

Perfect location to walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby and the Reading Market two blocks away. Room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Nice outdoor spaces.

This apartment was exactly as pictured and described. It was perfect for a family visit to Philly and super well located. I was super impressed with the linens and bedding which were soft and high quality...just like home.

Great place to stay. Lots of room compared to a hotel. Safe and secure location The only complaint I have is that multiple electrical outlets either didn't work or were not secure in the wall, were loose which was concerning.
