The woman that checked me in was argumentative. When I made the reservation, I indicated that I was bringing a pet. They sent me a message about the pet fee, I said that was fine. Yet when we arrived, they did not have the information I was bringing a pet, they didn't have any more pet rooms for the room I'd reserved ... Why did I reserve that room? Then she said if I changed rooms, they would have one more pet room. We changed rooms.

The breakfast is very basic ... cold cereal ... dehydrated oatmeal ... canned juice ... coffee ... ready-to-microwave sandwiches.

The hotel is on the outskirts of town in an industrial area. As a woman traveling, it did not seem safe, but turned out to be okay. The description on Bookings did not adequately reflect the location.

The price was right for arriving at 5:00 pm and leaving at 8:00 am. The beds were extremely comfortable. Clearly this is an older facility, and the bathrooms need some upgrades. But the location is in the middle of nowhere so I’m not surprised!

We traveled with a dog and the room was perfect for that. The location was ground floor - right near and exterior dog. The room was clean and comfortable.

Very old hotel. Small bathroom with the sink and mirror being on the outside of the bathroom. Furniture was old and scuffed.

Even though the hotel was non smoking, the entire place smelled like old cigarette smoke, especially our room.

The price was the best part. It was a great value. The place looked clean. Continental breakfast was very good.

The breakfast bar could offer some foods that will sustain you longer, i.e. bagel with cream cheese, protein bars, Greek yogurt. Everything was carb heavy.

It's an older building, so soundproofing between floors is not great. We had a rambunctious group above us till about 11:30...but no fault of the motel. Chalk it up to that off chance that happens.

Easy to find, pet friendly, and a large comfortable room. Continental breakfast was good and the staff was attentive.

Nothing. As long as you know what you're getting and the price is good - there's nothing to complain about.

The hotel is as close as you can get to the Great Sand Dunes NP in Alamosa. While it's very no-frills, it's clean, it's got great water pressure in the shower and the beds are comfy. We were there to see the Sand Dunes and to hike; we weren't expecting to stay at the Ritz. The staff were courteous and very kind to us. Parking was free and plentiful

The air conditioning was garbage, and we struggled to sleep because it was too hot. We set the air conditioner to 70, then 68, then 66, and it just tried all night long but could never get the room down to a comfortable temperature. The shades were also not nearly dark enough and let a lot of light in. Also, breakfast consisted of some boxes of cereal with some of that fruit soaked in sugar juice. No eggs, waffles, bagels, toast, or even black tea.

The staff was very nice, and the rooms were perfect in that the beds were comfortable, and there was even a fridge and microwave.

The continental breakfast was quite limited with just oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit cups and small packaged pastries. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit, toast or bagels.

The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk was very kind and pleasant to work with.

Since I'm a walker, a sidewalk or safer access to the nearby park would be nice.

It was a great starter breakfast with juice, yogurt, coffee, and a small pastry. Cereals were also available and we took a fruit/nut bar for the road.

Wish there was a pool but no biggie. Air conditioner in room was loud but tolerable.

Exceptional clean. Older hotel, but one of the cleanest I have ever been in. We were very impressed. Staff was wonderful. Our daughter was car sick after the trip and really needed to lay down. The staff accommodated us even though it was early check in. They allowed us to stay in lobby while they got our room ready. While we were waiting I was impressed to see the staff working hard cleaning rooms. They were working so hard. They got us in a room early so she coughs lay down and they were so nice! Definitely would stay again. The breakfast was good. Nothing fancy but had several options. Great price, courteous staff, comfortable beds and linens. Overall quality and cleanliness was exceptional.
