The owner guy way very nice. He recommended places to eat and asked if we had fun plans or if we needed anything. Breakfast was great, pool was great, beds were comfy.

We liked everything about it. There is nothing bad to say about it.

Staff was so friendly. Check-in was easy. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will stay again when in the area.

This place was great! Across a fairly busy road from Lake Michigan but only a couple of minutes to beaches and downtown Algoma. The room was spotless and there were thoughtful touches everywhere—recycling and extra wastebaskets, a good supply of coffee pods, etc. A bonus I hadn’t read about was the beautiful prairie behind the inn—full of wildflowers and with a trail mowed through it. We will stay again!

No towel rack by the sink which was outside the bathroom. Restaurants close were not open late, but we found some good places to eat.

The location was great. Just a few minutes to the board walk and lighthouse. It was very inviting. There were rocking chairs out front of the main building, and a small 2 seat table outside the room facing the lake. It is also pet friendly.

This is not our 1st stay with this hotel. Love the location, great price, fantastic staff. Good breakfast, nice pool, very, very pleasant stay.

The mattresses are pretty hard.

LOVED the nice well maintained little pool for our children-complete with toys and a hoop. The sauna was an unexpected perk as well. Having bean bags and an axe throwing game and all the outside area is a HUGE benefit for families-that was much appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well taken care of.

There was an older woman there that claimed to be the owner that was monitoring the pool while our kids were swimming, the sign clearly stated no food or drinks while in the pool, but we were having drinks in plastic bottles and cans at the tables in the pool area, one of our kids were eating cherries and spitting the pits in a cup, this woman said she could not eat in there, then sat across the pool from us and was eating food from a bowl. When we allowed our child to continue eating, she threatened to kick us out. This was a very "Karen" incident.

The bed was incredibly comfortable but very high mattress.

A wonderful stay. The room was immaculately clean and neat the best we have ever stayed at. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our dog loved the sniffing area where they had mowed a path through in the prairie area. Breakfast was great and better than most of the motels that we have stayed at. This was an easy and quick travel to Door County for our tour. My husband will confirm that I am beyond picky about motels and cleanliness and I was impressed. Yes I am one who cleans with saniwipes where ever we stay. No need here. This may be one of the older motels but is totally updated. It was a cozy and relaxing stay and the scenery beautiful. We will be back.
