Loud guests through all hours of the morning. Tried to make the most of it because I understand that everyone is on vacation, but when you are traveling with little ones being woken up at 3 and 4 in the morning can be difficult and we were displeased with the upkeep of the beach. We ended spending more time in the pool because the beach was not clean to even sit on and play in the sand.

We were originally put into a room that did not meet expectations, but the staff was great about getting us moved. The pool could have been cleaner, but understandably there were a lot of people, and most of those people were coming off of the beach. This was my second time staying, and I was satisfied with it after having been moved.

The stairs were very narrow and many people were constantly partying on the property and they blocked all the covered parking areas.

beach view out the window, south Texas bay beach, but, hey... Also It´s not super convenient for Downtown Corpus, but it´s a fun little spot on it´s own to get away from it all

It's the same quaint throwback to when I first visited 35 years ago. I don't think they've changed much since, perfectly fun beach bum crash pad for the price! Think 70's B-rated surfer movie set...

Room was just basic and appliances in kitchen were worn out , restroom vent was crusty. If you’re just needing somewhere to lay your head and not care about the condition of the room then this will be your place. Nothing spectacular about it except you can walk to the beach. We constantly had to sweep the sand in the room and ask for towels. Before we left we swept and left the room pretty much in the condition it was when we arrived took out our trash and put dirty towels in a pile and they still kept the deposit after being told I would get it back if everything in the room was okay. There are probably better places around that area to get your moneys worth

The walls were fairly thin, and our upstairs neighbor was allowing their children to run back and forth across the room without stopping. It was very loud and made it hard to get decent sleep.

The hotel was in close proximity to the USS Lexington. We were able to walk out the room door and almost immediately on the beach.

It was right on beach, I was in a truck and trailer and had plenty of parking space. Of course it was the off season. Nice restaurant just 5min walk down the beach.it is a older motel but was clean and served my needs for the night

Shower was really weak, probably as a result of the very hard water. The view was fantastic but at night the property lights were very bright making it hard to enjoy the night sky.

It was directly on the beach right by the USS Lexington. Definitely worth the cost of the stay.

Old fashioned beach hotel, which I like. Was cleaner than I expected. Perfect for getting up at sunrise to walk on the beach. Great value.
