    Restaurant and bar closed at 3 on Sunday afternoon. No maid service during our stay due to an unexplained issue.

    Bed was very comfortable. Cool retro feel.

    We stayed here because it was as near to relatives house. We wouldn’t have knocked and stayed otherwise.

    We had to ask to move rooms as the whole of the floor we were on smelled of foul drain which was stronger in the bathroom. The layout of the rooms was odd. The washbasin in one was in the hall I.e., not in the bathroom. In another room, the bed was in the centre of the room which created a lot of dead space behind. Both rooms had very little storage for clothes with only one wardrobe and no drawers. When we complained, we were told that no one else complained. The staff in the hotel were generally not very warm and friendly.

    The restaurant was good with friendly and efficient staff. The hotel not so much.

    Rude staff with over priced rooms and the AC doesn’t even work.

    Don’t stay here, the staff is extremely rude except for a few of them. Checked in around 3am, the guy at the front desk was extremely rude because we were checking in so late. The AC in the room didn’t work, when I asked the staff to fix it, the repair man came and couldn’t fix it. So they moved us to a different room the next night. Originally the GM was nice when I talked to him about getting some sort of refund for the first night, but upon checkout when I confronted him again about getting some sort of refund he was extremely rude and said there’s nothing he can offer me. Also lied to me in front of other guest that were checking in and said they offered to comp food and drinks at the bar, which they never offered us. Pretty miserable experience for a place that cost over $400 a night.

    Unresponsive, i accidentally booked wrong dates and tried canceling my booking to rebook new dates, but instead they kept on telling me it’s a booking.com decision whereas it’s purely the hotel’s. It’s frankly disappointing to see such a way to handle customers who initially showed interest in your property, no interest to even try to work on a solution. They stopped replying to my emails and this is very rude. I went through the reviews and i am not surprised with how this turned out, looks like there are multiple complaints about responsiveness and staff attitude

    Value for money is a stretch, but I think that’s typical for most of LA. On-site restaurant is not open seven days a week. The front desk staff weren’t particularly proactive or positive upon our arrival. When asked about transport around the city with a baby they looked bored and didn’t offer much by way of guidance. The valet however was a star and couldn’t help enough and was super cheery.

    Gorgeous hotel in a trendy area. Lovely open and cool rooms and beautiful colour palette and material choice choice across the building. Access to multiple lovely restaurants very easy in Silver Lake area from here. It felt very safe here and there’s a fantastic Erewohn next door.

    It’s a bit style over substance. Although it looks cool, felt like whoever had designed it hadn’t really thought about what it’s like you stay there. Some things that annoyed me: I tried to order room service with the special app, but this was impossible if you didn’t have US address/cell number (I’m from the UK); my trendy ‘dial-tone’ room phone didn’t work - when I finally ordered room service after having to go down to reception it arrived on a big tray - but there was no where to eat it, no table and the armchair was designed in a way that you couldn’t sit at it with the tray the food came in, so I ended to perched on the side of my bed; also there were no usb sockets so my Apple watch ran out of juice (I’m so used to hotels having them as standard I didn’t bother bringing a plug for the watch’s charger). All in all, really clunky for a hotel that meant to be a slice of chill. Message to hotel - you really need to sort out the app for ordering room service so that no US guests can actually use it!

    The location is great - right next to the main strip in Silverlake, so easy to pop out and visit the cute boutiques. Also the outdoor pool has a great vibe at the weekends with a DJ playing classics and a bar serving great cocktails.

    our flight was cancelled so we sent a message telling them we would be a day late. even though they had charged us for the first night they had given our room to someone else. we had ordered a king size room but got a queen size room with an extra bed without a duvet…. we had to wait an hour for our room to get ready, and was told we were going to get a free drink, but it was charged for later anyhow. there was only bottled of water on the room that was super expensive. no heating on the cold bathroom floor, and a sink in the hallway (not in the bathroom!). we were told we were going to get compensated for all the hassle but so far not a penny back. Also bills don't add up. Paid 200 dollars more than what's stated on the receipt, even when all the taxes was listed. So the list price here on booking.com does not reflect the final price as they add lots of different taxes and a resort fee on top (extra charges includes: Occupancy Sales Tax, CA Tourism Tax, Los Angeles Tourism Marketing District (?), Resort Fee, Resort Fee Tax..) So all in all it's pretty clear there is really poor management.

    The facilitets were nice and felt very LA. good area, close to nice restaurants, cafes and boutiques.

    Lack of 24 hour room service, even the restaurant was closed for dinner while I was there and I couldn't get breakfast before 8am. For a business traveler this is a deal-breaker. There was also street noise and the room shook whenever a bus went by.

    Beautiful design. Friendly staff. Decent location.

    Receptionists were not welcoming and hard to find during evening/morning hours. We had to wait almost for 60 minutes for someone to help us with check out in the morning (we were in rush to get to the airport). Room smell and rooms are not cleaned unless you ask. Truly disappointed.

    When we arrived the receptionist was not very welcoming, there were dirty coffee cups in the room and he did not even seem bothered by it when we asked to have it removed (it is covid time after all, so makes you reconsider the overall cleanliness). The walls are paper-thin we could hear not only the neighbours but also the toilets flushing above. Also found it quite crazy to not provide any bottled water other than a $13 bottle of Erewhon Market water in the room!

    The decor is beautiful and location are great for getting a real feel of LA. The valet parking was expensive but the staff handling this was very nice.

    they had works going on in the restaurant which meant no room service either, I was not warned about this and it went on for the majority of my stay- I wasn’t offered anything in return. I booked this hotel precisely for the ease of room service and having a restaurant. Disappointing

    This hotel charges way too much for what you are getting. It’s a nice hotel but for what they charge you’d think you get a dresser in the room, or maybe a closet big enough to hold more than 3 hangers, and is it asking too much to have a sink in the bathroom? Also found the housekeeping staff to be unimpressive with their duties. Again, it’s a nice hotel but not a great one like their prices suggest.

    The location was perfect for us. Visiting family within a mile.

    The cost! When I saw the price of the room, I assumed there was something special about the hotel, so I went for it, like a splurge. But it turned out to be nothing more than your basic motel! Then I realized the rates had been raised for the Super Bowl. I don't follow football, so I had no idea we were coming to L.A. close to Super Bowl Sunday.

    The location was excellent, and the staff was very nice and helpful.

    No welcome bottle of water (they charge $13 for water) nowhere to put clothes, no table or desk, no speaker for music, small and boring pool, Restaurant was good but understaffed,
