Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere wasn’t much to dislike about our stay! The rooms could be a little more updated but aside from that it was great!
Absolutely loved this property. Being located directly across from the Beverly center you have everything you need at your fingertips. The on site bars are amazing, the staff are friendly and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The beds were PLUSH like sleeping on a cloud and there was block out shutters for those who like a sleep in too.

United Arab Emiratesuncomfortable mattresses. they kept me out of my room when I forgot my access card. I had gone for a walk and did not have my ID. It was a bad day for me I already had stayed there for a week and all the staff knew who I was but they said unless they saw an ID they would not let me in my room. I explained to them that I had received some bad news and needed to lie down immediately but they did not care and they kept blaming me for it. The intense process took over 30 minutes which worsened my anxiety and sadness. Also, one time they had just rearranged the room and not cleaned it. There was garbage everywhere but when I complained they made sure my room was clean for the rest of my stay.
