Could have better privacy due to the somewhat thin shades. If I can see what people across from me are doing with their same shades drawn and what they're watching on TV, they can see me and what I'm watching.

Sonder at South Wabash in Chicago is a great place to stay for the week. This is my second time staying there and I loved it the first time 2 years ago and I loved it this time too. I love the whole studio apartment feel, it allows me to save some money by allowing me to go buy some groceries and have the ability to cook my meals. I only cook breakfast, but could easily do lunch and dinner, I'm just usually at meetings all day and don't have time for that. But the place is great. I like the location, its easy enough to get to my meetings from there using the train, Lyft, or just walking/biking. The room is nice and clean, has everything you'd want at home there. I think the only thing I don't like is the fact that there is a ton of light in the room at night from the outside environment. They drop down shades could stand to be a bit darker to help block some of the ambient light out. And if I can see people across the street in their apartments through their shades, which happen to be the same ones in Sonder, you get a sense that your privacy may be a little less than desirable for some people's preferences. I love staying there though and I'll be back again in 2 years.

We did not like the lack of security as there was only one lock on the door and no deadbolt. The window blinds were also see through and anyone could see into the apartment. The biggest issue was that our kitchen utensils and cups had not been washed from the previous stay and had fingerprints all over them.

This was a great stay, the view was awesome! The location was good and there were many things to do around the area. The room itself was a great size and the apartment was great. We really enjoyed the use of the lockers to store our luggage between checkout and leaving Chicago.

Nothing Would have enjoyed access to the courtyard.

Spacious, great smell, easy access to downtown and conference center. Nice courtyard view with floor to ceiling windows. Would definitely recommend!!!

Vacuum or dust under the bed. The bed was so creaky when turning over it was ridiculous. The comforter was too small for 2 people to actually be covered.

Great location (near Museum Campus/Soldier Field) , exciting view, something different from a normal hotel. Bathroom shower was nice.

The change of building and room access code before arrival as I have no internet access till in the room. There is no view other than the building next door where couples seem to have no issue with displaying their sexual activity.

One of the bedrooms is opened to the sitting room and bathroom outside. It didn't provide the privacy I was expecting for. The lights are a bit dim.

The staff is very caring and available 24/7. They provide very quick replies The beds were very comfortable.

It wasn't possible, yet to order cleaning and not clear how much it would costs. Nice would be to be able to request an invoice automatically when booking.

Very satisfied. Modern Apartment with great view! Already great eye for details regarding many things (night stand light has usb, smart TV for guest accounts, real coffee, storage lockers etc.)

The sofa bed was not ideal quite cheap and dated . Could have done with extra towels. The drainage was not good in the bathroom sinks ,

It was spacious including two bathrooms which is ideal as a group. The apartment they look at is very modern with a patio area . All rooms clean and comfortable.

There really wasn’t any staff? The day we got there the code wasn’t working and the woman working was down there but other than that I never saw any other staff.

This Sonder doesn’t have cleaning yet. You can request it but it will be expensive.

It was too hot inside the apartment. We visited Chicago in February, with an average outside temperature of 0 degrees Celsius, but then, in the house, it was always 25 degrees. Way too hot for me. I have been trying to work with the heating system but without success. I was only turning the heating up and never got the apartment cooler.

The view from my bed was stunning, and it takes time to get used to it, but then you miss it from the moment you leave it. The house was spacious and had all the comfort for cooking and enjoying the space.

Noisy air conditioning. It was not clear that cleaning is not offered even for the stay of 6days. We found out after checking in. No usb sockets.
