It was our second stay at the Beekman Tower and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment was smaller than our previous visit but it was very comfortable and had a spectacular view over the East River. The flat has all the necessary amenities and staff are helpful and friendly

Location wasn't as close to the subway as we would have liked but once we got our head around the crosstown buses getting around got easier.

Room worked well for a family of 5 with 2 bathrooms. Staff were very helpful and the place was very clean.

Grotty old carpets and not so clean lifts. The first apartment we were assigned smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the sofa had cigarette burns and food stuck between the cushions. Sandy helped change the apartment to a cleaner, better one making our one week stay more acceptable.

Heritage property right next to the UN and East River. Efficient access to mid town Manhattan and Brooklyn. Spacious rooms, good crockery and cutlery. Very comfortable beds, Free laundry facilities for guests. Free and good coffee/tea/milk and chocolate in the lobby. Elegantly appointed lobby. Staff have an excellent professional attitude to help despite the constraints

The housekeeping staff never attended to the room, despite being promised for a week long stay. The halls and elevators needed vacuuming. The carpet needs to be replaced.

Great location in a fun and safe part of town. Lots of restaurants and a real neighborhood feel. The added room of a place with a kitchen and living area was a bonus for NYC. The rooms were very clean, the linens excellent and the kitchen well provided for. The staff was friendly and attentive. Good value for the City!

Although I really liked the neighborhood and the location, it is a bit far from everything, so we had to walk a lot. Not necessarily a disadvantage, there is a subway station a couple of blocks away, but when we were tired, it always seemed far.

The small apartment was quite spacious, with a big living room, small kitchen with everything necessary, and 2 bedrooms. We found it ideal for our family of 4, since we spent some time in the room resting. It was a very good decision to stay here!

There were three of us traveling and we chose this hotel because it said the room had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Unfortunately, they were not two full bathrooms. One bathroom was just a toilet and a sink. It would have been nice to know this in advance.

The location is great. We had booked three plays and it was an easy 20 min. cab ride from the hotel to Times Square. We also toured the United Nations building which is within easy walking distance.

The bathrooms were a little small and did not have much ventilation. The steam from five people showering made it difficult to dry towels. Also, the windows could really use a clean, though it must be difficult to keep them clean in NY. Coffee filters would have been a plus, as well as a second nightstand in the second bedroom.

The hotel is conveniently located, but not smack dab in the middle of everything, which gave it a relaxed, quiet air in the middle of all the rush of the city. Staff are very kind and helpful (including with a last minute car ride to the airport). The room was very large by NYC standards with a ton of closet space. Kitchen was also well-equipped for preparing breakfast and simple meals, with a small but good grocery store across the street. (Facilties include a gym and laundry room, which we did not use, and coffee, tea and cocoa available day and night in the business center.)

it was central, it was clean, it actually felt like a hotel suite. everything was good about it, just the only bit the third person sleepingon the couch at least it was have being a pullout bed but in all nice place .

Nothing we didn’t like, but be aware it’s 4 blocks to the subway, so not on your doorstep (yellow cabs pass by often though).

Great room with good kitchen facilities, comfy beds and clean. Coffee machine in the foyer, free to use for residents. Ophelia’s Roof Bar is really tasteful and very popular so be sure to book if you want to guarantee a table. A couple of deli’s and general stores close by, and nice restaurants too.

The room we had was a little dark and lacked natural light in the living area - that said we weren't there much during the day. This is an older building and some of the furnishings had seen better days. There were updating the reception area during our stay.

The location was great with easy access to buses, metro and ferries all within a short distance - many of the sights are walkable. Having a fully fitted kitchen was useful for those days you didn't want to eat out - or to grab a take-away from the many local deli's. The location was quieter than others we looked at, away from the hustle and bustle but still with plenty of bars and restaurants locally. There is nowhere on site for breakfast but there is a good range of deli's and bakeries in adjacent buildings. There is s free coffee machine on site. The staff were very friendly. Nice powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Our apartment was well cleaned and had the added feature of an air purifier.
