The heat didn’t warm up the room quick enough, but that’s more on user error, not really the hotel’s fault.

Room was a tad smaller than we were expecting (bed was up against the wall so there wasn’t even enough room to walk around this on all sides. Cleaning times also varied per day..we came back one afternoon at 4pm to get changed etc and the room was still being cleaned at this point (having been empty since 9am). Nothing major just slightly awkward - we choose to go to a local bar to kill some time before going back later.

Bedroom was modern and clean. Breakfast was a nice edition each morning (continental). Location was very central and just a few minutes walk from Times Square. Friendly staff.

It was the perfect location, surrounded by plenty of great restaurants and not too far from everything we had planned. The staff were very polite and welcoming. And it was quiet at night, it didn't feel like you were in New York City. And the continental breakfast was good and offered many options.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. There were extras provided in the fridge, such as bottled water and milk for coffee and tea. There was a coffee machine, and plenty of cups, glasses and plates provided. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and had lots of choices. The location of the hotel was excellent, in the middle of a "restaurant row" street, and close to broadway theatres and Times Square. Easy access to the subway, and even an easy walk to the midtown pier for Liberty sightseeing cruises and the Intrepid Museum.

Breakfast. It was SO COLD outside. Having a few hot options would have had us eating there more than once.

Location was great. Very charming. Loved the never ending hot water, fridge, microwave, plates. Great storage.

The only thing I can think of are the windows. They don’t stop sound from the street. But I normally wear earplugs so for me it wasn't an issue.

We were really well looked after from the minute we arrived. The reception staff were excellent and everyone very helpful. Giezee (sorry I know that must be spelt wrong) helped us when we were anxious as our flight home got cancelled. Complementary breakfast was great. Also It was my birthday and i received complementary Prossecco and a card in my room. Location is great for on the spot restaurants and easy walk to reach Times Square.

I will definitely be back! The room was very spacious and homey. The bathroom was gorgeous. Loved the honeycomb tiles. I was there for my birthday. I loved the hand written welcome note and the classical music playing on the TV. Christmas morning, there were cookies hanging on the door handle. It was an excellent way to celebrate a birthday.

We loved staying at Hotel Scherman, it’s a cute little historic hotel that is well located in New York. Our room had two bedrooms and a terrace which was great. The included continental breakfast was ideal for us.
