Though I understand, I was disappointed in the breakfast. I also believe the hotel is beginning to show some wear. My black-out drape was torn.

There was no hot water on the second night of our stay. VERY disappointing! The heating/cooling unit was very loud. There was rarely anyone at the front desk.

Nothing was mentioned about the hotel being under complete renovation. The front door was locked. You had to enter the side of the hotel. When we arrived, forklifts were pulling out demolition items out of a second story window. Coming in the side entrance, there were tools, sheet rock and supplies all down the hallway. It would have been OK if one half was under construction and 1/2 was in good shape. The front desk gal made no apologies and seemed surprised we wanted a refund and go somewhere else. In the end, we got refunded and moved on. I'm sure the renovation is complete and everything is looking good now but for the extent of the renovations, they should have temporarily suspended operations for a couple weeks.

The hotel is under construction. They did their best with it. Once finished, this will be a perfect place.

I had an issue after I left some of my property in the room. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help me get my property back. Because of this situation, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Beyond that, breakfast was great for our family. The room was spacious and clean.

The facility was being remodeled, but had not stated that anywhere on the website or booking information. The breakfast was basically out of food and could not make more because the facility had not received their food truck.

Staff was good especially due to the poor facility situation.

What I didn't like was that I wasn't informed it was under remodeling when i had areived place looked abandoned and only one elevator worked should get some money back or something but other than that was ok

The hotel is under renovation, we were not aware of this when we booked our stay. I called the week before & no one said anything about the renovations. The day we were to check in the hotel called to ask if we were still keeping our reservation due to the renovations & the elevator being out of service. I advised the representative we had no other option since all other rooms in town were sold out & we were already enroute, which was 4. 5 hours away. The receptionist that was on duty when we arrived was rude & was not interested in assisting anyone. She was never at the front desk either. The same receptionist was on duty our first 3 days of our stay & her attitude and terrible customer service never improved. We have stayed at this specific Hyatt Place location 3 previous times, and in my opinion, the hotel renovations were downgraded the hotel overall. We will not be back.

The pillows and bedding was clean and comfortable. There was breakfast provided and it was more than continental breakfast options.

Elevator didn’t work our unit was on 5th floor, check in said they would assist us with luggage they did not! Spouse is on chemo so we had to stop for her to rest every other floor. moving us to another room on a lower floor wasn’t possible why? Room was lacking in housekeeping and disjointed in layout. Hotel was in the middle of construction which we had to walk thru to get to the stairwell, signed up with Hyatt expecting to treat ourselves to an upgrade from Hilton, it was not! Much closer in comparison to econolodge.

The hotel is being remodeled. The main entrance was not available and there was no signage directing where to enter building. The staff was not very friendly or apologetic for the mess, etc. No compensation was offered. The elevator was broken, and our room was on the 4th floor. Our room keys did not work after 10 am, even though checkout was 12:00 pm. The bathroom door required very firm push to close and latch it.

The breakfast was good. Good selection and tasty.

It was a mess due to remodeling construction. While it’s nice to update properties, this place was a disaster! And to charge full price when guests can’t even enter the property in a safe manner is ridiculous .

It was in major disrepair. Stains on flooring and furniture. Wall paper coming off the walls. Shower faucet coming off the wall. Electronic key entry was not working so they had to let us in our room anytime we left. I would recommend you stop referring people there until they have made repairs.

It was dirty, card reader card machine was broken sat there in lobby waiting for them to let us in our room at 10:30 at night. Get to room tv didn’t work and the room was incomplete no dresser’s very strange. Horrible place to stay. Very disappointed in this Hyatt Place.

The room had all hard floors, and the bathroom was extremely small. So small the fresh towel rack was in the shower. The breakfast was extremely limited and lacking. Overall it was way over priced compared to my other stays in topeka.

The hotel was undergoing remodeling so multiple amenities weren’t available. There wasn’t a hot breakfast, only a grab and go continental breakfast. The room was very dusty. I could write my name in the dust on the lampshade! I realize they were in the middle of a remodeling, but quite a few places still looked beat up and not well maintained. When I booked there was no mention of the remodel or lack of stated amenities. When I told the front desk staff about the dust in the room, he just said “okay, I will tell the cleaning staff.” He didn’t even apologize or say anything else. Seems that more training in customer service would be valuable. The room didn’t seem finished at all. There wasn’t a microwave and there was a vacant odd space in the room like it wasn’t completed yet. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Was suppose to be handicap accessible yet had linoleum floors! VERY DANGEROUS for an amputee! No carpeting, no hot breakfasts, pool was closed, shower was broken, bathroom sink was broken, bed was super uncomfortable, no phone or coffee maker in room, refrigerator didn’t keep anything cold & we forgot one tooth brush and they didn’t even have that!!! HORRIBLE STAY!!
