Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesTook a little while longer than we expected for breakfast. Was just wondering since I ordered the steel cut oats each morning, that took longer.
Food and staff were excellent. Loved that the chef, came out and asked how everything was. Also really enjoyed talking to Lakota he signed a book for us we bought as a gift.

Absolutely loved the environment of the property as well as the cabin we stayed in. Everything was so peaceful and the staff were so friendly. We also loved seeing all the animals roaming around, especially those hard working dogs.

United StatesI honestly don’t have any!
The location was perfect, just outside the park and it was away from overcrowded town of Springdale. The cabin was amazing and the location was incredible as I walked across the street to enjoy dinner and drinks. The wait staff were incredible and held a great conversation! The food was incredible, wish I would have had more meals at the ranch. To just sit outside and enjoy farm animals and the three big dogs was very peaceful! It’s what vacation should feel like. We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back.

We loved everything about the ranch. The friendly welcome, setting and then there was our stunning lodge. They upgraded us from what we booked and we were given one of their new lodges which was just incredible. Every part of it was high quality.

United StatesZion Mountain Ranch was one of the best surprises of our families trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon. We stayed on our way to Bryce Canyon, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The staff was absolutely exceptional, the cabin was immaculate, and the property was so much fun. We just wish we could’ve stayed longer!

United StatesZion is a dark sky area, so there are regulations requiring very little lighting. It makes for great star viewing. We arrived after dark out first night, and it was a bit difficult to find our way around. Maybe look up a map if you plan on arriving after dark, just so you know where to find the office, and they can give directions from there.
We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful location, lovely cabin that is very thoughtfully designed. The on-site restaurant is nice, but a bit pricey, especially for dinner. If you need anything such as groceries, buy them in hurricane or another larger town, before you arrive, as there is nothing nearby.

United StatesCan't complain, only have a few minor comments. We did not find towels in the room, don't be shy and just ask at the reception to get a set. The AC/heater is kind of weird as you can move the thermostat and easily go from extreme hot to cold air, so make sure you get familiar with it. If you don't like animals and don't like to have them around, it's probably not your place to stay, but that's on you.
The staff was extremely welcoming and explained us everything we had to know about the facility. This is a ranch, so it has animals all over the place, produce and even a pit fire to prepare smores (and warm up in he cold outside). There are horses, pigs, chickens, ponies, and even buffalos. We loved the place. The room was large, bed was comfy and you can ask for a DVD player (and borrow a DVD movie at the reception) to watch a movie in the room. WiFi worked great. We manage to have a stunning sunset right in front of our porch, it was lovely. You get the ranch feel, but kind of high-end type of experience, if that makes sense. The place is literally 10 mins from Zion, great to reach the sunrise overlook and park when no one is around (we had an annual parking pass for all NPs, but we manage to enter the park when the entrance stations where not operating). Again, loved it.

AustraliaEverything! The most beautiful place, the best experience we could've had. The staff were warm and inviting, and so helpful. Recommending great locations in the area for us to experience snow. The restaurant served delicious food, we especially loved the dessert and I loved the whole sustainability of it. The rooms are cosy and warm and remind you of a homey cottage, and we had beautiful sunset views of Zion. The beautiful dogs roaming around, as well as chickens and horses just made the trip so much more enjoyable. We had changes to our travel plans so we decided to stay one more night at this beautiful place, I just couldn't leave and I will forever come back over and over. I am totally in love with Utah because of this beautiful accomodation, in the most beautiful spot, I couldn't have asked for anything better! I genuinely feel so sad that I have to leave!

United StatesHate to complain about anything, the only issue was the flooring in the cabin, some broken tiles, and the floors were extremely squeaky downstairs making it hard to sneak around quietly when others were sleeping. There are few choices for food close by, so it would have been nice to have a fully equipped kitchen.
This was all we had hoped it would be, a beautiful setting and a very comfortable cabin with decks overlooking the ranch. There are horses, ponies, pigs, chickens, and 2 beautiful dogs hanging out on the property. The Cordwood restaurant oozes charm and ambiance as well. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner at the Cordwood. S'mores and conversation with other guests by the firepit was a great way to end our day! Super easy access to the East entrance of Zion!
