It felt like the host wanted to literally shove us out on day of checkout with niceness gone down the drain...as if she was addressing 6 year Olds and the time was 9:45 and we had already packed out stuff in the car

Place has a damp smell which can be a bit overwhelming especially if you're staying for a week, other than that I can't fault it or the hosts. Just for clarification, picture of the property is accurate , it's the white house but it is across the road from the docks.

Location, warm hospitality of the hosts , they responded immediately when we needed anything, the 3 bed cottage is very spacious and perfect for a family holiday, Kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs, we had visitors who came to watch football world cup with us , Pat was kind enough to offer us additional crockery and cutlery to cater for all of them, and they didnt even complain about the noise. Thandie was amazing as she helped us to keep the place tidy. Pat and Des were great hosts.

The lane to get there was very bad and steep. The toilet took a long time to refill, as they use septic tanks. Not enough lighting outside at night

Facility in desperate need of renovation. Paint, new towels ext. 3 Rooms but only 2 bathrooms. If you stay in the 2 nd Bedroom at the top, you have to walk through the main bedroom to use the bathroom. 2 nd bedroom is very small, you can hardly move around the bed. The 2 other bedrooms where nice and spacious.

The hostess(Pat) was extremely rude! From the day of arrival until our early departure. On the first morning, we didn't have hot water. Reported to her via a phone call whereas she's in the same property, (she couldn't come and see us as her guests as she claimed to be sick. Even though we saw her outside). The water issue was not sorted, she continued to be rude over the phone making it seem like we are stupids not knowing how to switch on the hot water. We then couldn't take her terrible attitude and decided to cut the stay short. We requested a refund of the remaining evening, even during that process we had to fight with her. She said she did the transfer however money has not yet reflected in my account. Pat is a really horrible host. I wouldn't recommend anyone to book there. Also, the property is not at the dockside as described when making the booking. It's hidden in the bushes.

There was a damp smell through out the house. The carpets need to be vacuumed as there is a dusty smell in the rooms.

Pat(the host) was fantastic, very friendly amd informative. There was a cleaning Service There was enough tea and coffee The Wifi was a problem on the firat 2 days, But Pat Hurried to fix it for Us

Homely touch to the property, warm welcome from our host who waited for us despite prior engagement with her daughter, which was really appreciated. She also gave us feedback which helped with the rest of our journey:)
