Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We stayed for 8 nights at the Greenhouse a small friendly guesthouse ,we loved the location short walk or uber to the V&A waterfront, plenty of restaurants near hotel as well a a shopping mall with food outlets 5 minutes away, guesthouse was very secure , room was very spacious and clean with a small kitchen area which was ideal, We arrived late and were very tired after our long flight and Gordon helped us check in helping us with our bags , Harry and Barbara the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly giving information and advice on were to go and how to get to places...Must mention the lovely Judith who was so very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble ,she is an absolute gem and a great asset to the Greenhouse Guesthouse . If we ever get to Cape Town again we would not hesitate to stay at the Greenhouse Guesthouse

The location was wonderful since it was within walking distance to great restaurants and bicycle rental. The manager was wonderful and gave me many good recommendations. A pleasent stay.

MalaysiaThere are no lift to get to the reception. One has to walk up the stairs. For people with knee problem, it might be a hassle going up and down the stairs.
The guesthouse is located within walking distance to many eateries, V&A Waterfront 800m or so, food market, laundry, Shopping Mall and a beautiful Catholic Church just a short walk away (400m) from the guesthouse. The guesthouse is managed by a lovely couple Harry and Barbara who went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful. Tours were arranged for us. Staff were helpful. Rooms were clean daily. Facilities, there is a kitchen in the room which comes in handy and really good for Families, Couples and Group of Friends who enjoy cooking their own meals. There is no swimming pool at the guesthouse, Overall it was a lovely place to stay in Green Point, Cape Town, South Africa.

Basically, everything was perfect! Judith was gracious, efficient and professional. during our stay. She carried our luggage upstairs from the curb and when we were leaving, she took it to the curb to catch our Uber. We were able to store our luggage when we arrived from our cruise ship and then we checked in later. Excellent value and great location within walking distance of the Waterfront. I also had a very interesting conversation with the Owner, Harry.

United KingdomOnly the fact that in the kitchenette there was no small sink to wash our cups or fill in the kettle and no paper towels.
We had a lovely and spacious room, triple with shower and small kitchenette area with a small table, 2 chairs and 2 bamboo armchairs. The big window made the difference. Staff is very nice, especially Judith at the front desk who is very polite and helpful. The area looks safe and has some restaurant choices within 5-10min walk.
