The fact that the entrance to the resort was barricaded by disgruntled staff. Could not enter and forfeighted our stay without a notice, email, message what so ever from manyane or leopard resort mangement. Seems they treat both their staff as well as customers with the same disrespect. Bookings. Com should reconsider their relation with this company.

Terrible, nothing else can better describe this experience. I arrived at the resort after a 11 hour flight from Europe only to find out the staff is on strike and the resort closed. Had to look for an alternative which l luckily managed to find. Any information regarding the resort not being available? Nothing from Manyane and nothing from Booking either. Got no words to describe the bitter feeling and frustration to hand part of the trip organization to a bunch of amateurs

The breakfast was not very inspiring - canned fruit when there is such good fresh fruit in South Africa, not much choice on other items.

Great location. Comfortable accommodation. Game drive organised on site was lovely.

Tents are not maintained, ripped and falling apart. the braais are rusted and cannot be used as they have holes in them. overall, the place is not being maintained. had a bad start as some tents do not have fridges or fans in, our 3rd attempt was ok.

The resort has potential but is very poorly maintained and not well run. Things are falling apart all over the place. . When checking in we were asked to wait till 2pm before we could check in. This is fine but we waited and when we got to our room it had not been cleaned since the previous guests had used it. There was load shedding during our stay which is not the resort's fault but the generator is extremely load and does not power all the resort. So when load shedding happened the fan in our room went off and it got very hot. Another issue which was not great but is not the resorts fault is there is obviously a nightclub in the nearby town that blasted music until after 3am on both nights we stayed making for a poor night's sleep. The resort should work with the local authorities to manage this noise.

The resort is well priced and convenient for access to the Pilanesberg. And the draught was cold which is a plus

The chalets are outdated. Too outdated. Pools were green quite confusing if they were meant to be like that or not. Bedding was clean but had lots of droppings and holes

Loved the staff, meals, nature lovers delight. Kids enjoyed play area.

If I have to: Nothing to do with resort, but water pressure was low. Staff did everything possible to assist. Would've liked an electric plug in loft area for a fan as it was very hot there. Difficult to get hold of place as telephone lines are not working.

I enjoyed the whole experience. So did my family from Sydney. Not 5 star, but we wanted a bush experience. And we got it. Chalets clean, aircon worked and generator help to keep lights on. Staff friendly and helpful. Complainers on social media almost robbed us of a great time in the bush. This is my new go to place. Only 2 hours from Jhb and trip there was also very pleasant. We stayed there during the week and it was peaceful and quiet. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Quiet and peaceful. Breakfast big enough to last us the whole day. 😉 Had dinner there once and food was good and prices reasonable. Chalet ánd braai area were clean when we got back from our early morning gamedrive. Teenagers from Sydney couldn't get enough of bright stars and night sky.

I liked the pillow on the bed and rooms were clean. That's was about it. Did not like anything else. Poor restaurant, poor pool facility at chalets with drunk and noisy people lying around. The rooms are dated and outside of chalets not well maintained. In fact, the whole property is maintained poorly.

Morning staff was friendly. Breakfast wasn't great but edible. Hold back on the deep fried fish smackeroons and crumbed aubergine for breakfast. No cheese or croissants for continental spread. Really? Does not work. Get filter or barista coffee. Instant coffee is a let down. For the price, get some quality into the meals. Location is great, but do not get to comfortable as the park is not in a good nick anymore and I do not see many people return soon.

The property was lacking some basic maintenance inside and outside of the unit, such as no lamp shades, poor electrical connections, overgrown areas and untidy walkways.

The property had all the amenities required for a good relaxing stay, with a pool, play area and restaurant all conveniently located.

The ablutions were in a very poor condition. They were not being kept clean. There was no maintenance on broken items. The lawns were not mowed and the general appearance of the camp was poor. The restaurant had a 2 hour wait for very poor quality food. We have been coming to Manyane for 20 years and have seen the deterioration over the last few year but had been willing to give it a chance. However, this visit was so bad we will not be coming back again in the future.

    The tented camp was ok.

Chalet in very poor condition. Broken cupboards, bathroom in bad condition, missing ceiling fan so very hot in kids bedroom on mezzanine level. Gardens and leisure facilities also in very poor condition. Restaurant and bar badly stocked and service extremely slow due to very slow kitchen it seemed. Half hour wait for drinks, over an hour wait for food at each of the 4 meals that were in our package. Pool green and stained our swimwear green!

Good location for Pilansberg. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

For the price we didnt have high expectations of the accomodation and we were right - the chalet living area is extremely cramped. The very dim light over the sink does not provide enough light to see the oven switches and when you open the front door to get some light you can't access the kettle. The sink taps are so close to the wall that you battle to turn them on. Accepting this poor design we did at least expect what was on offer to be functional. This is where Manyane fails dismally. Clearly there is absolutely no general maintenance programme for neither the chalets nor the fire safety equipment. Ie: :Living area fan not working. :Aircon switched on but barely working. :No fan or aircon in the loft which makes that area like a sauna. No plug in the loft for a fan or anything else. We had to take the mattresses downstairs and sleep on the floor in the lounge where we had a requested portable fan.( you cant sleep with doors open due to possible invasionn of baboons) :Lounge light not working. ::Kitchen doors without handles and falling off hinges. : Switch on stove missing. : No key for the bedroom exterior door. : Fridge took 2 days to get cold by which time we were leaving. Our drinks were warm on day one and we couldnt buy ice anywhere. Day 2 we demanded a cooler box of ice from the bar to prevent food going off. : Shower head was a joke- the water squirted out horizontally - it was impossible to use - the option was to swim in a greenish murky swimming pool where other 'guests?'' were swimming with beer bottles in their hands and shouting to each other despite signage requesting otherwise. : Stove had not been cleaned. : Braai had not been cleaned. : 3 plates for 4 people : No towels until requested. : No hair dryer. : Room phone did not work, so to report or request anything we had to drive to the reception. : The power went off in the middle of watching a soccer match. When the generator kicked in the sport channel was no longer...

The location is good for accessing the game reserve - the Manyane Gate is 500m from the resort. Its apx 20 min drive to Sun City..
