The Sauna wasn’t working. The rooms have coffee machines but no coffee pods.

Best location for a staycation Comfy beds, generous breakfast, beautiful landscape, also get to see goats that live on the property. The gym is small but functional.

The breakfast was very good, there was a lot of food. It was well situated for myself as I was close to everything. My husband had to travel a bit, but we knew that when we made the booking. Being outside the CBD is way nicer as there is so much to do. Jo was very accommodating, nothing was too much and she always had a smile on her face. She was very present in every aspect of the guest house.

Warm and friendly welcome from all members of staff, settled us in to enjoy the facilities on arrival. Grounds are amazingly well kept and beautiful. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was very generous and was a wide variety on offer

The sofas looked great but were really uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time.

Luxurious. Beautiful house and gardens. Large cottage with living room. Good generator which kicks in during the several outages in Cape Town. Large breakfast. Helpful Manager.

Had a problem with the pillows on the bed. One was too large and the other small but both very soft. Prefer med/firm. To be fair this wasnt mentioned to the manager who may have dealt with it at the time.

Beautiful surroundings, lovely suite with more amenities than you would expect. Courteous and friendly staff. A real treat.

All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property and perfect location. Thank you. Here's our feedback.... The pillows weren't the best. And we only had 1 each. One pillow was a tad lumpy and the other was a tad plump. We also had 2 single quilts on out big double bed which we've never experienced before. We used the spare double quilt from the cupboard. 2 decent, good quality pillows each would have been lovely and 1 full duvet cover. Complimentary water would be a nice gesture in the fridge rather than being a charge for it. However we didn't get charged for the water in the end as a goodwill gesture for not having gluten free bread as an option at breakfast..A nice gesture, thank you.

The manager is quite stressed out and rude. Doesn’t make you feel welcome and as though you are burdening him with anything. This place has a few rooms, you not operating a huge hotel. Treat your guests with more respect and don’t make it seem that even asking for an iron is a painful.

Villa Coloniale is simply exceptional, the hotel decor, the rooms, the staff, the breakfast are all beyond excellent. The location in the Constantia suburb is tranquil, great location for vineyards and a perfect foil the hustle & bustle of Cape Town.
