Excellent, frankly nothing to say, the owner, Mrs Jane, is very welcoming and helpful, the instructions in the house are clear and accurate. Everything is clean, you prepare your own breakfast with a wide range of elements and kitchen utensils to do so. Very comfortable room, spotless.

Warmest welcome from the owner, Jane. We've occupied a large room, in the spacious character filled house and decided to stay another night when something unfortunate and unforseen came up. The fully stocked pantry and fridge allow for you to cook yourself a gourmet breakfast.

Road around the Guesthouse was a little noisy

The four of us stayed in Jane's guesthouse. This guesthouse is one of the oldest buildings in Port Elizabeth, recently completely renovated. A beautiful, atmospheric house, fully furnished and we immediately felt at home. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a complete breakfast yourself. Delicious Nespresso coffee, bread croissants, all kinds of fruit, yogurt, cereals, cookies. There is also an honesty bar where you can get beer, wine and snacks for supermarket prices. Jane is a warm and helpful hostess and we actually regretted that we only stayed 1 night. Wonderful place and highly recommended for a shorter or longer stay, just a few minutes' drive from the airport.

We loved everything, so nothing we didn't like

We loved that the host thought of everything, the fridge in the kitchen was fully stocked with an extensive variety fresh fruits, yogurts, cheeses and hams along with eggs etc We also loved having braai's, the drinks fridge was also stocked with wines, beers and soft drinks and plenty snacks to purchase, so we didn't need to go shopping for this. The facilities were spacious and so comfortable, we also loved how accessible local restaurants were in walking distance as well Jane, the host was always hands on and always made sure her hosts were happy. Perfectly situated close to the airport and within walking distance to several restaurants. Safe secure home away from home. Beautiful gardens and stylishly decorated guest house. Jane is a gracious host who goes above and beyond to see that you are well looked after. Our guest house of choice in Port Elizabeth we will definitely be returning.

Jane was an amazing host. Very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The checkin was very detailed and she explained everything we needed to know. The fridge was stocked with light foods and drinks for breakfast. Rooms were cleaned daily. She went out of her way to make our stay great and she even allowed my mum to do some washing. I will definitely be going back when I visit PE again. THANK YOU JANE.

Nothing at all, everything was excellent.

The welcoming we received was exceptional, and it was interesting and enjoyable chatting to the owner Jane and her husband. The property and accommodation is immaculate in a very pleasant area. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious. The other facilities, including the lounge and kitchen are fantastic, and all our needs were well catered for. The self-service breakfast was impressive, with a large variety of choice including eggs, bread/toast, and a good selection of cereals, jams, spreads, cheese, meat, yogurts, fresh fruit etc. There are also many restaurants close by, including the Hussar Grill which is superb, and it is right across the road. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay which felt like a real home from home experience.

We appreciated very much the welcoming and friendliness of our host. We immediately felt home! It is a charming house with more amenities than you would expect. The house is perfectly maintained and decorated with taste. The swimming pool and the garden are ideal for relaxing. The location is in a safe district, 5 min away from the airport. There is a very good restaurant located just aside to the street.

Great accommodation in a gracious, beautifully renovated home. Loved the shared kitchen, dining, lounge and outdoor areas. The host Jane and her assistant Marc could not have done more to ensure our last moment stay was happy and safe. All the makings of a great health breakfast and coffee were supplied and the garden and pool are just beautiful. We walked across the road to a restaurant for dinner. The home has a wonderful story attached to it. Great stay, excellent hosting, will definitely return.
