The breakfast was small but very nice. I ordered a traditional English. The room in the courtyard was large and well laid out. The short walk into town and the river was excellent

Very traditional English hotel with a lot of charm. Historical building. I have been upgraded into a bigger room, which was fantastic.

Easy to find. We were visiting Ludlow the following day. Plenty of parking. Rooms are in a courtyard behind the Inn. Our room was warm and welcoming with radiators that you could control yourself with the thermostats. The Fountain Inn is very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our evening there with the log fires burning away and a very good choice of meals on the menu. We still managed to find room for our freshly cooked breakfasts the next morning. The landlady and staff were all very pleasant.

The proprietor was very helpful and considerate. He also cooks a great breakfast (I saw them but didn't have time to stop!) Really nice quiet backwater accommodation which doesn't appear at first to be like a traditional hotel. Fancy well ornate back garden with fountains. I had a very quiet room but I had chosen the smallest. Well comfortable attractive lounge if you want to sit in there rather than your room.

Friendly and at ease staff. Helped me get my room arranged earlier than regular check in. The atrium area is a lovely oasis away from the bustle of the airport - could do with more plants there though.

The combination of the modern parts of the building with the traditional historical parts blended perfectly and with all the available facilities such as the spa, gym, water sports and restaurant we barely needed to leave the hotel

The bed was very comfy, room felt luxurious, unfortunate stain on the carpet but overlooked due to lovely room. Courtyard in the sunshine was glorious with the soft sound from the feature fountain is a welcome sight away from the hum drum of life... The entrance to the Castle both days of weekend was good, that way you can pop back in on the Sunday morning early doors and miss the crowds :)
