The lady manager at the desk never met a problem she couldn't fix. She found a taxi that found me on a small street in Portbau. She made sure I knew where everything was I asked about. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. The location of the room was perfect. I watched the beach when I was not swimming. I love the view of the full moon on the ocean for my room. The cost of the room was half what it was worth. The neighborhood was excellent. Less than a mile was restaurants, food stores and clothing stores if you want them. The people on the beach were friendly and very nice. Not much English spoken but the people understand enough to get what you want. I just can't say enough nice stuff about the lady at the front desk.

Almost everything was perfect. The staff and owners were so helpful and going the extra mile for everything. The room and the property in general were spotlessly clean. The view overlooking vineyards and forests, the lovely walkable town next door, birds chirping in the morning... A serene haven in an unexpected corner of Emporda.

The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, just like the facilities themselves with the nice little terrasse. The breakfast was better than most 5-star hotels I've been to: a large variety of salty and sweets and all in great quality: the jámon, the cheese table, the natural orange juice, the carefully baked cakes, everything!

This restored winery is yards from Port de la Selva Beach, just outside the Cap de Creus Natural Park. It has 2 restaurants and a wellness center with sauna.

The room, bed, bathroom and balcony were all spacious. We had a great view from the room, over the balcony to the sea. The staff was kind and the restaurant was delicious! Being off season, the town itself was very peaceful and quiet.

In a privileged position, both for its geographical and its artistic setting, you will find Mas Palou, a characteristic Catalan farm house from 1582.
