The hospitality was unmatched. Pippa, Martin and Marian were very helpful and friendly. I was in town to hike Snowdon and they had tons of information and experience to discuss the hike at length. I truly felt like a guest living at their house and to me that's the pinnacle of any B&B. Very nice facilities too. There were also some other little things like having a light on the room/house key keychain, giving me some homemade trail snacks for the hike, and texting me to make sure I made it back from the hike that made the stay positively memorable. All B&Bs should strive to be like Aberconwy House.

Without doubt the best hotel we stayed at during our time in Betws-Y-Coed, Wales. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Aubrey (one of the owners), our room was very nice and the views were amazing, however shortly after we collected our luggage from the car we had been ungraded to other equally lovely room and even better / stunning views of the local landscape. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (we appreciated this!) and the restaurant / bar manager (believe she is the co-owner) deserves a special thanks for looking after us whilst our table was been prepared. We had three great evenings here, which obviously added to our experience of being in Wales. The days we were there we started out really early in the morning, well before breakfast was to start. The owner (Aubrey) went above and beyond to accommodate our needs by cooking us a beautiful breakfast on the second morning and prepared a grab bag on the third before we went on a trek around the North of Wales including climbing Mount Snowdon and other activities. Aubrey and his team have such warm personalities and are highly motivated. The atmosphere is so special that we really wish we could off stayed longer. I highly recommend to anyone if they were to stay in this area, book themselves into the OLIF hotel, you will definitely be impressed.
