The location in a picturesque village was delightful, with easy access to hiking trails. We enjoyed the presence of lovely chickens and ducks in the garden, whose eggs we had for breakfast. We were also at first pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a larger cottage, which came with a well-equipped kitchen and a fireplace.

Absolutely beautiful home, we were all a little taken back! Very well equipped kitchen, clean, lovely showers, perfect for a holiday with 3 teenage girls. The little touches of bread, milk, butter and a bottle of wine on arrival were lovely. On recommendation by Pete and Lorraine, we went to Looe by train for 2 of our days, very impressed with the train prices and so worth leaving the car at the house. Thank you so much for a great holiday home, we will certainly be recommending.

Absolutely loved this beautiful Hotel, with beautiful features and decor, Beautiful gardens, plenty of places to sit and relax, very comfortable stay. The breakfast was amazing such a wonderful choice of food, plenty of fruit and cereals, I had the Cornish breakfast and my wife had the Vegetarian breakfast, it was the best she had every tasted, and plenty of it. Lovely People, very informative and helpful. We certainly want to stay again, thank you.

We loved our host Tess, such a lovely warm welcome meant we could relax immediately. Wonderful welcome hamper, superb house, wonderful swimming pool and hot tub. We wanted for nothing and are already looking at dates to return. I forgot to mention the chickens and cockerel just an added surprise. I could not fault the cleanliness. Well done Tess :)

Another perfect stay. Friendly welcome, couldn't do enough for you. Spotlessly clean, with all the facilities you could need. Perfectly situated for me, close to railway station but quiet enough to relax. Gorgeous breakfast with plenty of choices, really couldn't fault a thing.

It was so peaceful & calm just what tge doctor ordered! We had a lovely walk through the woods which was just outside our door so we didn't have to use the car which is always a bonus. The cottage was lovely & clean. It had everything we needed. I had a warm relaxing bath in the evening & slept for 12hours! Heaven!

The location is stunning, such a lovely lodge in the countryside. The BBQ hut was a great part of our stay and we loved cooking in there. Loved just enjoying nature and relaxing, watching the sunset and marvelling at the incredible night sky. The hosts, Liz and Dennis, were really friendly and helpful. The area is lovely and there is lots to see and do - Cornglaze Caverns, Golitha falls, Siblyback Lake, Adrenalin Quarry, Looe. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend!
