I stayed here for a week with my husband. It was by far one of the best experiences I have had in Kerala. Being right by the backwaters was truly beautiful. We received fresh homemade breakfast every morning and the staff was so amazing. I would highly recommend staying here!

We went for a wedding; we found charming, friendly staff, very spacious, comfortable accommodations, and beauty in abundance. My wife loves new foods and spices, and we both enjoy wildlife. Any time we were in the spacious, spotless dining room or walking across the 30-acre campus, we encountered new tastes, sights, sounds, smiles and blooms. We were prepared for biting insects but were surprised that we were not bothered by them at all, even though butterflies were common. We walked with naturalists, watched the sunset over the lake, dined with new friends, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful front space to take in the serene surroundings. The crew were so attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! As well as the whole afternoon of cruising on the first day, we had a short morning cruise before our checkout which was great! Although all food is included, we had the option to stop and buy huge fresh tiger prawns which were caught in the lake, and the chef cooked those for us alongside our other curries. The best thing we’ve done in India. 10/10!

Marari Beach Resort is a truly magical place. Everything is perfect. Every need is catered for. The bungalows are delightful. The pool and the beach are perfect. If you have the chance to eat at the fish restaurant the food was so delicious. The bar is brilliant. I also went in the Owl Parliament with Vashnu. His service was perfect. His knowledge of the owls and the wildlife at the resort is second to none. He was friendly and professional and has a great sense of humour. We saw creatures that, without his knowledge, we would have just walked past and never enjoyed. He shared information that I now have and he has educated me in the subject of wildlife. I have fantastic photographs to treasure. I particularly thank Vashnu. All the staff were brilliant at taking care of me. I thank you all for your kindness.
