We felt like we were living a movie and remembering a time gone by from the dolce vita in a dramatic and slightly surreal setting. Our hosts went out of their way to welcome us (including our four legged friend, Margo) and even though we were late let us swim in the spectacular infinity pool and enjoy a stunning meal of papardelle ai funghi porcini. A rare opportunity to experience something genuine and eccentric. The hosts might want to consider installing EV chargers... Then we'll definitely come back next year 🙂 Thank you

A real castle, very stylish. We had dinner in hotel restrant, very Good, the price was also convinent. The hotel uograded us with room in the tower.

We were delayed by the ferry from Greece being 7 hours late leaving about 4 hours to drive over 500km to arrive by 2300. Contacted the hotel. No problem someone here until 0100 and if that’s a problem we can give you the door codes etc. Arrived at 0130 as there was a 35 minute delay on the autostrada due to an accident. Codes worked. Key on reception desk. Information about breakfast already sent. Cold water in the fridge. A good end to a rather fraught day. Hotel was comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Definitely stay again. Staff really helpful.
